Good Points: Central location to the shops, bars, china town and sites
Bad Points: The chips were covered in salt, it should be the customers choice as to what they want on their food. There could be health issues as a result. The carpets and general decor needs updating. Perhaps more mature waiting staff in the restaurant as at times we felt we were an inconcvenience to their chats! However recption and bar staff were great.
Further Comments: Generally I thought the charge of over ￃﾂￂﾣ300.00 for two nights b&b was expensive, the room we were in didn't warrant that amount. The hotel in general needs a make over, perhaps then this would excuse the high charge. Better directions to the NCP Car Park you use would be very helpful, we wasted half an hour trying to find it as there are quite a few NCP car parks in this area.

Good Points: clean,comfortable, good food, very central.
Bad Points: could not open a window or make TV work ( but then I did not have time to watch)
Further Comments: Very good position,within easy walking distance of main station and central Manchester. Room clean and comfortable,not too noisy, food good, all staff very pleasant,welcoming and helpful.

Further Comments: This is my third saty in this hotel, the staff are very helpful and pleasant. Nothing is to much trouble for them. My meal in my room was served at the time I wanted it and it was hot, well presented and tasty.

Good Points: Central location and value for money was excellent. Overall facilities and friendliness of staff again very good.
Bad Points: Only one towel in the room despite being a double with double occupancy. Switch for TV was on the wrong side of the room and had us confused! Although discount parking was available it was not clear from the website how to get to this. Payment methods seemed a bit excessive - you give card details on website to make reservation, then have card swiped for security when you arrive, then have card swiped when you leave to pay.
Further Comments: Excellent.

Good Points: I always look for a hotel with a rate that includes breakfast and has in-room internet that I require for my work (preferably free)

Good Points: The room was large had both a bath and a seperate shower Excellent room service Pleasantly decorated Had wireless internet connection making it possible for me to use computer any where Reception very helpful in organising Taxis etc
Bad Points: The room was at the front of the building making it quite noisy. The lighting was very dim The hairdryer had very little power took a long time to dry my hair There was no safe
Further Comments: The staff at the hotel were excellent. I dined both nights in the restaurant, the food was very well presented and well prepared, however I found the choice slightly limited.

Good Points: Very spacious rooms, having to use your door key to get to the rooms and excellent breakfast.
Further Comments: Very very impressed with the helpfulness of the staff, the cleanliness and outstanding presentation within the hotel. I have never seen a hotel room so big and it was immaculate. The hotel itself was also on the doorstep of the local amenities. Only 20min drive from airport as well. Will definitely book again and recommend.

Good Points: The whole place was beautiful and to an extremely high standard cannot understand why it is only a three star, I have stayed in shabbier four and five star hotels.
Further Comments: if you want to go to a stunning, central and friendly hotel in Manchester then this is the place for you. We honestly could not fault it. The staff were amazing and made you feel like they had known you for years ( this may just be a Manchester thing, but it was so lovely!).

Good Points: The reception staff were friendly and very helpful. The food service was also good.
Bad Points: We booked a twin bedded room, however we were given a double bedded room. The bed was very uncomfortable on one side due to the springs in the mattress being broken. The water went off on Saturday night due to a problem with the Resevoir..even though this was out of the hotels control..we were offered no compensation. We also couldn't shower when the water came back on, on the Sunday morning as it was freezing cold.

Further Comments: Was on a weekend with the girls,had a great time & the hotel was really good for the money we paid, I've stayed in some really posh hotels but this was a bargain!!! Staff were really friendly

Good Points: meals in the brasserie were excellent. close to all amenities.
Bad Points: staff talking on reception while trying to book, answering phone while dealing with our booking process. central heating not working correctly. different types of electrical sockets (round and square pin).
Further Comments: ok for an overnight stop. meals good. room cold in winter. central for city centre, station etc.
