Good Points: Your hotel at Bowness was a quet and peaceful retreat with a good view of the lake and with plenty of safe parking at the rear of the building.
Bad Points: My one comment would be that the new baths installed are most uncomfortable and feel that a stylish look had been chosen at the expense of comfort. Also the shower was difficult to control.

Good Points: The hotel is in a excellent position. Staff were very professional. The restaurant view, service, and food were of a high standard.
Bad Points: The room for 3 poeple was a bit cramped.
Further Comments: Overall we enjoyed our stay and felt very looked after. The staff were lovely and very accomadating. The food was lovely. The only down side was the size of the room which, with 3 people in felt cramped. However with all of the Lake District on the door step, you tend not to spend much time in the room.

Good Points: The friendly atmosphere. The room was lovely and the lake view breathtaking.
Further Comments: The hotel is situated in a great position where you can walk into either Windermere or Bowness. The staff were extremely helpful at all times. Food was excellent.
