Further Comments: An ideal hotel in a perfect location. For the price we use this hotel to visit my duaghter at university and after trying many find this ideal for cleanliness and for a lovely breakfast making it all a complete pleasure. Thank you

Good Points: Hotel clean, staff helpful and friendly
Bad Points: The inadequate sound-proofing meant that noise from the outside street could be heard until 5am Sunday morning (every person walking past, every laugh, shout even talking). To make matters worse after a disturbed nights sleep the seagulls started at 6am and could be heard for the next couple of hours
Further Comments: I would have liked to have known that the sound-proofing on the street rooms was so inadequate so that I could have brought some ear-plugs with me!

Good Points: We liked the location just off Union St. A lot of thought has gone into the design of the building. we liked the design of the shower room/toilet especially and the breakfast area. The breakfast buffet was very good. I thought the mattress too soft but i slept very well with no ill effects from the soft mattress.
Bad Points: Although off Union St it is close to a taxi rank and there was a lot of noise at pub closing time. Bedroom doors could be better insulated - got woken at 3am by some idiot on a mobile phone going to her room. She was so loud she didnt need a mobile. So better insulated doors would help.
Further Comments: Good location, clean and comfortable, good value for money. Staff very helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much. We'll be back.

Good Points: Modern, clean room where everything worked!
Bad Points: Lack of parking facilities
Further Comments: I've stayed in this hotel before and i keep going back as the location is great for central Aberdeen and it's good value. Parking is very limited in the hotel although there is a big public carpark next door that is free during the evening.

Bad Points: the room was next to street oposite busy bakers shop open until 4 am too much noise on saturday nights
Further Comments: If had known in advance would have asked for room other side of building away from street.

Good Points: The hotel is located in a quiate area yet quite central and very accessible to the main attractions, shops, bars, restaurants.
Further Comments: Express by Holiday Inn is definitely offers a very good deal and the standard is excellent, for a mid range hotel. I do understand that they were short staffed, but they were still able to cope with a busy hotel. I have to salute a few members of staff that had to sacrifice doing doble shifts and even ding a split shift for the hotel.
