Good Points: i requested room 74 as i had stayed the previous year in that room. it was spacious, clean and in a quiet spot.

Good Points: The whole of the stay was excellent. The outlook from the room (at the back) was picturesque, overlooking stables and the hills beyond. Tried food in both the bar and the restaurant and were both very good. The restaurant wasn't cheap but worth the money (Especially the Banana Souffle) The gardens are extensive and well laid out, very nice for sitting out before or after dinner.
Bad Points: Only reason for not giving top rating for the equipment was that the bed was creaking a little, possibly under the strain of the excellent dinner.
Further Comments: The 2 day stay was very relaxing. All staff were very professional and friendly. Room (executive) was spacious and comfortable.

Good Points: Very clean and the meals were nice
Bad Points: Being awakened by a lift and noisy staff at 6am in the morning especially as we did not get to sleep until 1am due to wedding disco.

Good Points: We were travelling with my mother-in-law and wanted to be relatively close to her. Within a very short time things were rearranged and we were. The staff continued to be excellent throughout our stay. The grounds were great and well set out and the pool was a delight.
Bad Points: Nothing major but the food and wine in the restaurant at night was somewhat pricy.
Further Comments: The Hotel was easy to find, in a very pretty setting. Once in, the staff were extremely helpful without imposing themselves, which is a real skill. The rooms were clean and in good order and everything worked when you wanted it to do so. Arrangements for swimming were great.

Good Points: The quadrangle, conservatory, gardens and spa were all excellent. We were very please to see that we were allocated a quiet room as requested.
Bad Points: Smoking in the bar where food was being served. Rowdy groups in the bar swearing while we were having dinner.
Further Comments: It would have been useful to have known that there was a pub on site. It would be good to have sample menus available before booking. Gluten free options on the menu would also have enhanced out stay. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful at all times. The facilities were very good and overall we had a most pleasant stay. We would definitely use this hotel again.

Further Comments: I read some bad reviews about the hotel about building work / noise...etc, but as the rate was reasonable I thought I would try it out. As a lady on her own it was a nice place to stay and I didn't see or hear any building work, but I went to the restaurant when it opened at 6pm and was the only one there. I didn't enjoy the food, but I don't like fussy food and wouldn't normally eat in a restaurant with such bizarre menu. The food wasn't of poorly quality, the presentation was fabulous, but not to my liking.

Further Comments: we were not sure what to expect till we arrived but were not dissapointed room was adequate quiet and comfortable. the staff were very helpful and room was cleaned and tidied every day. ist night had to eat in the bar as the ciros restuarant was not open, food was ok but still only bar food, 2nd & 3rd nights dined at ciros, food and wines were excellent if you like mediteranean food its a must everything we had couldn't fault staff were really good. saving pennies for another weekend stay as soon as possible.recommend to any age also cater for weddings and suchlike.
