Good Points: spacious and comfortable.
Further Comments: excellent, customers for life. the staff were helpful and friendly. we throughly enjoyed our stay and would even look to visit manchester again just to have an excuse to stay at this hotel. thanks to all involved.

Good Points: General access and environment were seamless and its what i call a user frienldly hotel.
Bad Points: I guess internet facility should be free or atleast reduced, iam posting this from my hotel room in shanghai and guess what internet access is free from my room via LAN
Further Comments: My stay was quite pleasant.

Good Points: it was very clean and spacious
Bad Points: a small bar area and very poor breakfast and food availibility
Further Comments: would have liked a bigger bar area and food could be much improved, the staff were very nice and car parking was very safe.

Good Points: The fact that it was an apartment and there were 3 of us, meant we could sit together in the lounge with a cup of tea and relax without having to pop in and out of each others rooms.
Bad Points: The brick dust. The first apartment was covered in it, but to be fair they upgraded and moved us to a more delux apartment. Also because of the wooden floors it was noisy overhead.

Good Points: The space and the beautiful decor and attention to detail
Further Comments: From the minute we arrived we where treated like the most important people in the hotel. Nothing was too much trouble part of our group even got a complimentary upgrade. The staff where extremely friendly helpful and courteous. The standard of the rooms and bathrooms was exceptional. We had a wonderful time in Manchester and it was mainly due to the staff and facilities at this Hotel. Cant wait to return and would never stay anywhere else other than the Place.

Bad Points: Bathroom floor not very clean and had tiles loose. Wardrobe door would not stay shut. No TV remote.

Further Comments: I thought the hotel was very well run and the staff made you feel welcome and were very helpful.The apartments were very clean and in a very good condition.I would not hesitate to use again or recommend to others.The bar at the hotel was good and the drinks promotion was great.

Good Points: 1. Clean, modern hotel. 2. Central, convenient location. 3. On site car parking. 4. Size of apartment - very spacious. 5. Level of equipment provided in apartment.
Bad Points: 1. Car parking charge was not notified before stay. 2. Car parking system was not clear to new visitors. 3. Decorative finish in apartment was untidy.
Further Comments: For both of us this was a very enjoyable overnight stay. Our only frustrations were that it took us a few minutes to obtain access to the car park took and, once inside, the access to the main car park via a traffic light was poorly explained (we could have sat in the car for some time had we not driven right up to the light). On leaving we were also informed of a charge for the car park which, whilst not a large sum (ￂﾣ7.50), should have been communicated earlier. On the positive side the staff were helpful, the reception area and lifts were clean and tidy and the apartment was very spacious. The bathrooms and equipment in the apartment were excellent and our only criticism was the quality of decoration. Some of the doors etc looked as if they had only had one coat of paint, some of the finish looked rushed and the electrical cables in the lounge and bedrooms were untidy. These shortcomings detracted from the overall idea of an apartment which we both liked and would visit again.
