Good Points: The hotel appeared efficiently run, it had a feeling of olde world charm and yet the decor and facilities seemed fresh
Bad Points: The availability of hot water through the shower was a bit sporadic

Bad Points: The lift - small and claustraphobic Thought the evening menu was somewhat limited The kettle in room *** was 'epileptic' it went in fits and starts For a couple sharing I thought the toiletry bottles of shampoo, shower etc were limited ie just one of each.

Good Points: Room was nice and clean
Further Comments: Hotel was nice, the room was clean. The waiting staff at the function were very good indeed. The downside was that breakfast too greasy and serving staff were a bit grumpy in the morning. Service was poor, condiments not on the table. I heard raised voices in the kitchen and another guest complaining of various missing items at his table.

Good Points: We had a large, clean, well-equipped & well decorated room, with en-suite bathroom and a comfortable bed. The room was also quiet.
Bad Points: Very little. The hotel has a good traditional English atmosphere. Bar staff were a bit unschooled eg, not knowing what ginger wine is, and spraying our table with cleaner while we were sitting there drinking. Some of the lounge furniture was a bit past its sell-by date.
Further Comments: We both liked the place a lot, and felt that it was more than just somewhere to sleep overnight, it was a pleasure to be there, and offered good value.

Good Points: the accomodation was clean,bright and lots of room.not to mention the more than adequate equipment in the room.
Bad Points: only down side was being woken up at 9am by the cleaner...not pleasant after having been to wedding reception late into night.
Further Comments: would definatley stay again.lovely hotel.and excellent value for money.

Bad Points: only down side was being woken up at 9am by the cleaner...not pleasant after having been to wedding reception late into night.

Good Points: Very clean, comfortable and warm. The staff were very helpful, and made me feel comfortable, which is important being on my own.
Further Comments: I di not need much information, as my sister got married at your hotel, and I know the area well,as my sister lived close by for many years, befor moving to Spain. But she also has a flat two minutes from the hotel, so it will be useful for me to stay at your hotel, when she is in the country.

Good Points: Centrally placed, although the traffic through Dunstable is a nightmare.
Bad Points: Hiding the tea/coffee tray in a bottom drawer was unusual. A large function was also going on in the hotel, thus breakfast, bar and restaurant facilities were curtailed to other visitors - fortunately found another restaurant in the town.
Further Comments: I would have liked to have been informed of a large function going on. We were looking at the hotel with a view to having some functions through next year, but realise this would be inappropriate. We feel it would be more suitable for our needs to use a smaller hotel for visiting local relatives.

Good Points: Accommodation was attractive and well maintained..all facilities were in working order.
Further Comments: It was everything that one could expect,at a reasonable price,and what was required to attend a local function. The staff afforded a warm welcome and were readily available to give assistance when require This hotel had everything that was required, at a reasonable price, to satisfy clients putting up for the night to attend a local function. The staff were very welcoming and at hand to assist, when required, at all times. A particularly pleasant young barman ready to atttend to requests at a late hour. d
