Good Points: very clean throughout hotel, and beds were comfy.
Bad Points: was not told about information about the hotel(telephone use, restaurant times, etc) but found it on last day on the t.v. in your room.
Further Comments: Very easy to find and the staff were most helpful. Check your bill when you leave as mistakes were made (although rectified very quickly),other visitors have commented on this also. very understanding of my autstic son who ran amock in the hotel!!!

Good Points: The bed was so comfortable, the view from my room was nice, and the bathroom was superb.
Further Comments: I chose this hotel because it was the only one I could find with space. It turned out to be a pretty good choice- the bed was so comfortable I didn't want to leave it, there was ample free coffee in the room, a desk, bedside lighting (I would assume this to be essential, were it not for another hotel that lacked this convenience) and a freephone for taxi. Locationwise, while the Cedar Court is a fair way out of town, it averaged about ᆪ5 for a taxi, and there were buses to the town centre no more than a few minutes' walk away. If you walked to Morrison's (about 5 minutes) a taxi cost much less. Another attractive feature of the Cedar Court was its proximity to Bowling Park- I went for a run here. The view from outside the hotel was pretty nice, the staff were friendly, efficient and helpful, and they had a decent selection of wine at the bar. I didn't try the food (being a poor student ᆪ30 per night for the room was my limit), but the breakfast looked nice enough and room service even had a couple of choices marked as vegan/vegetarian- I would have tried a hummus & roasted veggie sandwich had I not already pigged out on a Bradford curry.

Good Points: Very clean and relatively affordable
Bad Points: Meals if made a little cheaper would encourage guest like me and my large party to stay and eat in the hotel than elsewhere
Further Comments: Hotel was very standard and well equipped. the Kids enjoying the free suana and gym facilities which thought would be paid for. On the whole hotel was very welcoming and everyone seem to have had a good time. The children wanted to stay longer but this would be next time.

Good Points: Our room was very comfortable if a little noisy from being close to the road. Standard of furniture and fittings was good.
Bad Points: When computer system fails so that morning calls will not be made on the in-house 'phone system then staff should make physical calls to awaken guests. We almost missed breakfast but we could have missed a flight - anyone missing a flight in these circumstances would have very good grounds for making a compenstaion claim. Selection of beers at the bar to include real ales
Further Comments: Whilst the dinner was excellent the food at breakfast suffered somewhat from being in warmers rather than being freshly cooked for each guest but as 'buffet' style breakfasts are common nowadays one just has to accept the shortcomings; that said the choice of foods on offer was exceptional. Our room was pleasant and all general areas were clean and in a good state of repair. The overall impression of the hotel is that the management strive for high standards and mostly achieve them. One could easily be staying in an hotel owned by one of the international chains but paying a very fair price: if CEDAR COURT continues to provide the quality at the price it should be very successful.

Good Points: Good value, good location, good swimming pool.
Bad Points: Looking a bit shabby, bar and restaurant incredibly overpriced for location
Further Comments: Everything as expected, four star services but now in need of a re-fit.
