Good Points: The room was very spacious and elegant
Bad Points: For a solo business traveller the restaurant was a little expensive and so I ate out.
Further Comments: The hotel has a very homely feel to it and would be a lovely venue for a function or small wedding breakfast. The check-in was not particularly informative - I had to ask about breakfast times and location and there was very little interaction. Overall a lovely destination hotel, perhaps not suited to a single female business user - in fact it had quite a romantic feel to it and so I missed my husband even more!!

Good Points: The accommodation was on a par with many more expensive hotels that I have visited and certainly well above average.
Bad Points: I appeared to have piped floor music early in the evening but this ceased around 21:00-22:00.
Further Comments: This was an excellent hotel and very close to some lively and accommodating bars. The staff were extremely pleasant, very polite and willing to help. The food was good but slightly expensive. The room was well above the standards I was expecting for the price and the bed linen clean and fresh. Nicely located with a country feel and only a short walk from the town centre. Personally I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit Leeds and the surrounding area. I can only say I was extremely impressed.

Good Points: Beuatiful classic hotel very well kept and excellent breakfast
Further Comments: I have stayed in Leeds quite a few times in city centre hotls, but Haley's out performs them all. A beautiful period building. Rooms to a very high standard. FREE wifi - no more of those annoying charges per minute. I didn't eat in the restaurant, but it smelt good and is a well thought-out simple classic-british set of options that promises high standards. A litmus test is always breakfast. At Haley's its one of the best I've had. Everything cooked to order, its not one of those dreadful limp-hot-buffets. I tried the eggs benedict and the full-english, both were excellent. Basically if you are staying in Leeds, don't bother with the city centre. Just take a trip of a few miles up to Headingley and stay some where cosy and classy - Excellent for a family or couple.

Good Points: It was unique amny hotels are very similar in style but Hayleys had a feeling of difference and style

Good Points: Quiet & comfortable, dinner very good, but not cheap
Further Comments: We had no complaints, but other guests that came down to breakfast later, found they had to wait & full breakfast selection not available Would recommend hotel for a special occasion, evening meal would take some beating Seems to be a favourite with parents of students studying in Leeds, it's very close to main student accomodation area, but still quiet

Further Comments: Very nice and handy for Leeds centre. Nice room at a reasonable cost and the restaurant is great. Staff very helpful, and a nice ambience.

Good Points: Accommodation very good. We stayed in a standard room which was fine for our one night stay. We would use the hotel again but may try a bigger room.
Further Comments: As stated I would book a bigger room next time but that would only be because the room we had (standard) was so good. The hotel was great and the price for the room and breakfast was very, very good. The breakfast was first class with the staff great.

Good Points: The food was excellent
Further Comments: This hotel has a really nice feel and is 4 star so has very good service and all of the trimmings you would expect. If you are staying in Leeds and would like a good alternative to the over priced mainstream hotels in the city centre then this is perfect. The food was excellent and good value for money.

Further Comments: A pleasure to go to a hotel that is well looked after, with very nice staff who now how to make you feel welcome without being overbearing. At this price it is the best I have been too. I will certaily stay agian when I am in the area.

Good Points: The hotel was excellent - the food was extremely good.
Further Comments: Although I only stayed one night I was very impressed with the staff, the room and above all the restaurant. I will certainly be staying at this hotel again when I am in Leeds.

Further Comments: I have stayed at Haleys before and it's one of my favourite places in Yorkshire. It has a personal touch that only the independents can offer.
