Good Points: The cleanliness of the room
Bad Points: Not having a bath (only a wet room) was slightly off-putting.
Further Comments: For the price that was paid for the accommodation, it was a good deal. The overall hotel and its setting was beautiful. Very good location being so close to Abingdon town Centre.

Good Points: I liked the breakfast being delivered to the room
Bad Points: The room was quite hot
Further Comments: It was a lovely place to stay and I shall definitely come back. Although the pool was not working, we didn't actually realise that there was one before we arrived so would not have been prepared. I really have nothing to say as I was happy with every aspect of the stay-although I could imagine that it would beneft from an air cooler in the height of the summer.

Good Points: Clean and comfortable.
Bad Points: We had the end room (10)next to the kitchen and it was a a bit noisy on occasions, especially when breakfasts were being prepared. Not used to a shower wet room. Floor marhed with limescale

Good Points: The accommodation was set in a beautiful situation, the room was very light and airy and the atmosphere was tranquil
Bad Points: I would have liked a shower tray instead of a wet floor all evening!
Further Comments: I have given details of your accommodation to the relatives with whom we stayed and I have told them to recommend Kingfisher Barns to any other visitors that they have, both family and business; we shall certainly try to use Kingfisher Barns when we are near Oxford again. Thank you for a very pleasant week end.

Good Points: Accomodation good
Bad Points: I was dismayed to have a memeber of staff knocking on my door to say we had to leave the accomodation in five minuets as that what was required and the new guests had arrived to take over the room
Further Comments: I would love to return to the cottage if a more relaxed attitude was taken by staff, i can fully understand the need to clean and prepare for the next guest but i felt like i was being bullied infrount of a very dear friend to get out of the room. I may add that under the rules you may not be given a room before 2pm !!!!!

Good Points: The heating system; easy to get warm.
Bad Points: No bar.
Further Comments: Welcome relief as I had walked from Eynsham in the rain and was wet and cold and tired.

Good Points: Country setting; use of swimming pool; welcoming staff and general service.
Bad Points: Room was rather cramped and lacked the table and chairs necessary for breakfast which was brought to the room.
Further Comments: We knew and liked the venue because our family had hired the swimming pool previously, but we had not stayed there before. We realised that the hotel catered for disabled persons, but the doorways and general layout of our room would not have accommodated wheelchairs because of the difficulty in positioning the furniture differently. The bathroom, although excellently equipped for the disabled, had washbasin and mirror at an inconvenient height for us. The accommodation therefore was neither one thing nor the other.

Good Points: Nice situation
Bad Points: TV badly positioned. Room too cramped. Another easy chair but dont know where it would go.
Further Comments: Would recommend hotel but not room we were in (see below)

Bad Points: the room got rather chilly at night although i had both heaters on.
Further Comments: overall it was a pleasant stay, would definitly return for another stay.

Good Points: The buildings were charming and the service efficient. Pleasantly surprised by the variety presented as a continental breakfast.
Further Comments: A nice surprise all round. We expect to stay here again.
