Best Western Abbey Hotel near Bath: Bath Hotels

Good Points: Accommodation was warm and clean with a good view well positioned for sightseeing.
Further Comments: The staff were very pleasant and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Very pleased with the accommodation and the position of the Hotel as it was within walking distance of everything that we needed or wished to see. The only slight drawback is the lack of parking which is not the hotels fault, this is a problem experienced by probably most hotels in the area.

Good Points: Friendly. Clean. Not overly dated. Good Breakfast. Location is excellent.
Further Comments: The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was continental and full english and both nice and of good portion. Location is excellent for seeing Bath. Parking was just around the corner in the NCP (you can offload though outside hotel) and only ￂﾣ4 as we stayed over on a Sunday, becomes a little more pricey if a week day or Saturday. If travelling by car though and don't know Bath's one way systems check with hotel best direction as you could get stuck in a one-way loop!!

Good Points: We loved the location; close to everything. We also loved the quaintness of the building and the size and decor of our rooms.
Bad Points: My only complaint was the bed in which I slept could have used a new mattress.
Further Comments: I was my own travel agent for this trip. I booked hotels from the descriptions that I found online. I really had no idea what I would find when we arrived at our destinations. I was pleasently surprise when we arrived at the Abbey Hotel. Thanks for being truthful in your online description.

Good Points: We loved the location; close to everything. We also loved the quaintness of the building and the size and decor of our rooms.
Bad Points: My only complaint was the bed in which I slept could have used a new mattress.

Good Points: Adequate double room with all the facilities you would expect and more.
Further Comments: Staff were friendly and helpfull. They gave us a room with a view, which we requested.

Good Points: Hotel is very central to Bath with car park around the corner (next to the Police Station!)
Bad Points: Our room looked out on an enclosed area (probably because we only stayed one night). Nice outlook to front rooms.
Further Comments: The hotel is ideal for a weekend break being close to all the main attractions in an area which felt safe even at night. The nearby car parking is critical in Bath. The hardest thing was to navigate the one-way system to find it.I should have paid more attention to the directions-its no use looking at a street map.
