Further Comments: The hotel is OK. First impression is not great as the hotel looks like a an old block of flats. However the rooms are adequate,warm and clean enough. Very clean bathroom with good shower and bath. Plenty to eat at breakfast with a good choice. Good, secure parking and a few restaurants around within a short walking distance. If you want the town centre it's about a 35min walk or you can take a bus. Staff friendly and helpful.

Good Points: Staff weer staff were friendly and helpful
Bad Points: Low standard of quality in the rooms. Felt grubby - blanket on bed and bed itself were stained. Generally grubby throughout. Poor quality bathroom - no pressure in shower with very small shower head.
Further Comments: Not time for this but suffice to say that myself and colleague will not book into this hotel again. Needs modernising throughout. Lift to second floor only and then stairs. generally poor

Good Points: It was clean and the staff couldn't do enough for you.
Bad Points: The beds were not very good, and it was very hard to find.
Further Comments: I am very disappointed at how far it was from the NEC, and how long it took due to traffic. Overall the hotel was very good and even though i wouldn't recommend it, it would only be for the location not the actual hotel.

Further Comments: Excellent value for money. Very quiet nights sleep as the accommodation is set back off the road. Help yourself cooked breakfast with helpful staff We used this hotel as a stop over before a golfing weekend at the Belfry. We will certainly use this hotel again Well done and thank you

Good Points: Basic but very clean and tidy. The bathroom facilities were very good also, and the room was nice and warm.
Bad Points: There was a bit of noise coming from the other rooms (music). I think it was because at this hotel, they were outside rooms so we were not all inside.
Further Comments: We have stayed at the Apollo once before. It is ideally situated to where we wanted to go, and we managed to get a bargain by booking online to say that it was New Years' Eve I was very pleased, having only made the booking 3 weeks previous.

Bad Points: Very noisy function going on until 1.30am
Further Comments: A nice hotel in a convenient position. Room fine and staff very helpful. There was a large function going on which made parking very difficult and as our room overlooked the Reception was very noisy until the early hours preventing sleep!

Good Points: great value and convenient. It'a clean and functional.
Bad Points: it's a bit odd being in a differenet block but I was surprised that I didn't really hear the noise on Hagley road.

Good Points: It was clean and tidy, the staff were helpful and it was good value for money.
Bad Points: No sercure parking, we tow a trailer up which we empty on the Friday before arriving then leave it in your car park until we leave on the Sunday and it was worrying not to have sercure parking.
Further Comments: We had to miss breakfast on the Saturday because we need to leave the hotel by 7.30am at the latest and breakfast didn't start till that time. We work long days and the food at the shows is not good so breakfast is important to us. It would have been great if we could have got breakfast earlier. Maybe you could offer breakfast in the rooms from 6.30am even if it is only a limited choice.

Further Comments: This hotel was basic but very clean, the food both at breakfast and in the resturant was excellent, the staff were very friendly especially the resturant and bar staff. If you are looking for a hotel at a reasonable price this has to be the best in the area
