Good Points: Good location, plenty of car parking space
Bad Points: Looked grubby, breakfast items were particularly slow at being refilled lack of fresh fruit options

Bad Points: It was too far from the city, there was only one plug socket, the cleaners kept leaving the window open (It was nearly December) Many of the staff had a very poor grasp of English

Good Points: spotlesly clean and the staff very helpfull and friendly. Dinner extremly good value
Bad Points: No spy holes in the doors and the trayed breakfast as we had to leave early was revolting and we had to pay for it.Could do with a refund on that

Good Points: It was very close to the city centre so getting back from the gig I was attending was very easy. The room was nice and I didn't expect it to be ensuite which was a nice surprise when I arrived.

Further Comments: Considering the cheap price, hotel was very comfortable and quiet. Would have liked to be able to book room overlooking canal-side but don't think website allowed this option.

Good Points: The French staff were friendly and efficient. We could walk into Birmingham. Good value for money.
Bad Points: Just showing signs of dating and in need of refurbishing but otherwise excellent value for money.
Further Comments: Excellent value for money accommodation. A little bit of France in England. Friendly and efficient staff. For energetic people like us it was an easy walk into Birmingham. We would definitely stay there again - or indeed any other Campanile Hotel. Similar to Travel Lodge but the French staff made it for us.

Good Points: It was clean and tidy. Adequate for the overnight stay after a concert
Bad Points: I was in my room for about 15 mins when 2 men came into my room as they had been given the same key number as mine!!!

Good Points: It is a reasonable distance to the NEC and importantly for us accepts pets.
Bad Points: The standard of the room cleanliness was not as good as the past three visits and the room decoration looks tired. Bed linen had cigarette burn holes in the quilt cover.
Further Comments: The staff and standard of the breakfast were excellent as usual, but sadly we feel that for the first time on our next annual visit to the area, we would be looking at other hotels. This is because we feel that the cost of our stay is rising but the quality of the rooms are deteriorating. We hesitate to make an official complaint because this was the first time in several years we had any negative feelings about our stay.

Bad Points: The rooms and hotel could do with redecoration and modernisation in the case of the bathroom
Further Comments: We enjoyed our stay and found that ordering a taxi on the lobby phone a good idea

Good Points: The Staff were great, the food excellent, the room was adequate.
Bad Points: The room had a heater that did not work but had scorch marks up the wall, the bathroom had mildew around the tiles, overall the room requires modernisation.
Further Comments: Overall the hotel was good, I was a bit dissapointed with my room but the food was great as were the staff.

Good Points: Easy access within walking distance of city cenntre
Further Comments: Staff really freindly and helpful. Made me feel important anyway. Would book again without hesitation.
