Further Comments: You really need a taxi to get into the city centre. Hotel bar closes at 11pm. For a budget hotel its ok but there are better in Birmingham

Good Points: Staff here are friendly & helpful
Bad Points: The rooms themselves are looking a little dated now. In particular, the two black areas up the wall in my room above the room heater were not something I expect to see!
Further Comments: Overall, Campanile normally offer a good stay for a good price. However, some of their sites are looking 'a bit worse for wear' now, & I think that the group need to re-invest some money into sprucing up their hotels.

Good Points: Staff friendly & Helpful, restaurant & food very nice.
Bad Points: We were placed on the ground floor and found it very noisy due to the nightclubbers returning after 4am - would not put us off returning.

Bad Points: Not very much I use your company regularly.
Further Comments: Service is friendly and prompt. The funtion we attended at Aston Villa. I recommended your hotel to six people who all seemed quite happy with it. Napoleon Bonepart would have been delighted to have seen a French business in the middle of England. See you next time.

Good Points: close to aston villa as we came to see the reading match. have stayed at Campanile in Liverpool so knew format but this one is much nicer
Further Comments: very reasonably priced hotel with functional room.lovely to have instant hot water to the shower without wasting cold water down the plug hole could have done with a few more tea bags only 2 for 2 of us. I do b & b and always leave at least 4 even for single occupancy. Both the bar snack we had before the match and the dinner in the restaurant were fairly good. Staff friendly and efficient.

Further Comments: The hotel was functional for our weekend stay and provided a good base in which to visit Birmingham centre.

Bad Points: The reception staff were miserable and were not polite and welcoming.
Further Comments: I had no problems with the hotel or the staff in the dining room. I believe that reception staff should be friendly, cheerful and welcoming as they are the first people you meet when you arrive. Miserable reception staff could put the potential guest off staying at the hotel again.
