Good Points: The room had tea/coffee-making facilities
Bad Points: The room was too hot. The TV was fuzzy - needs an aeriel.

Good Points: It was quiet and comfortable and having the key to get in through the main door late and night was very useful
Bad Points: The shower! It was fine unless there were too many other people on the same floor having a shower at the same time in which case the temporature was not constant.

Bad Points: The Hotel badly needs and refurb our room was tidy but there was damp above the main bed and it smelt alittle ,Becouse its on a busy rd it also made it hard to air as we didn`t want to open the windos for any lenth of time.

Good Points: No late night curfew, clean tidy, Cheep, Close to Reading town centre Friendly, able to come and go as we pleased.
Bad Points: Bed was that comfortable, linnen and pillows needed replacing.
Further Comments: This hotel is ideal for any one who needed somewhere to stay when they are socializing in reading. I was easy to find, close to the city centre and very reasonabley priced. I like the fact we had a front door key and didnt have to be back by a certain time. The staff were friendly and always helpful.

Further Comments: high traffic on london road, but double glazing makes the room quiet. breakfast OK, exactly the same every day. mirror a bit shaky one shower not working, has been reported and will be fixed nice thick fitted carpet everywhere

Bad Points: Cloakroom-sized basin in bathroom in room 29; mirror overhand makes it impossible to use basin.

Good Points: Conveniently situated for conference centre. Recommended Indian restaurant for dinner opposite is excellent.
Bad Points: Room carpet in poor condition.

Good Points: The rooms at the back of the hotel are very quiet. Parking was excellent in the car park.
Bad Points: Hotel lobby & corridoors generally shabby. Washbasin in room was badly cracked in several places. No toilet in the room. Breakfast times varied from day to day.
Further Comments: Hotel generally shabby & in need of decoration although some effort had been made in the bedroom. Having said that the washbasin was badly cracked in several places. There was no toilet in the room meaning a communal one on the lower landing had to be used. The shower cubicle was next to one of the beds so care had to be taken not to spray or drip water excessively on the carpet when getting in or out of the shower. The window frames were filthy. Breakfast times varied & the staff made no bones about clearing away around you if you hadn't noticed the breakfast time hours for the day.
