| Good Points: Room was functional | |||
| Bad Points: Bed was to small and lighting poor | |||
| Further Comments: Female receptionist that greeted us was very impersonable and appearedto be giving us a rehearsed speech - breakfast very basic | |||

||
| Good Points: Accomodation excellent couldn't fault it in anyway. | |||
| Bad Points: Toilet paper could have been better quality, bar drinks very over priced. | |||
| Further Comments: Location excellent if visiting Lichfield. Overall very impressed with the hotel, staff very attentive. Drinks at the bar are expensive. | |||

||
| Good Points: It's a clean new building, thats about all. | |||
| Bad Points: The location, too far away from 'anything' else except a mcdonald's restaurant and an esporta gym. | |||
| Further Comments: I would like to have known I would be staying in a very remote location miles from the nearest town, no shops nearby no night life and most of all I would have liked to have known that to afford a pint of lager or use the wifi internet in your hotel I needed to take out a 2nd mortgage! | |||

| Further Comments: Good value for money, shame about one of the towells being dirty. There was confusion over breakfast times on a bank holiday, so we missed it, but staff did rustle something up for us. | |||

||
| Good Points: Very comfortable bed and pillows | |||
| Bad Points: The on-line map shows the hotel in the wrong place. | |||
| Further Comments: Good location, good welcome. Quiet even though it is close to the main road. Good access to Lichfield and to main road networks. | |||

|
||
| Bad Points: The room had 2 single beds, but was booked as a double. I am 6ft 4in tall so a double bed is better for me. | |||
| Further Comments: On arrival at the hotel after a very busy day and a journey up from London by car,I arrived only to be told that there was no food available because the microwave has broken!. The receptionist then told me that the food was not that good anyway! The smoking area in reception just seemed to be anywhere. Holiday Inn Express is more than Premier Travel Inn's rooms, so I expected better treatment! | |||

||
| Good Points: Room reasonably spacious and bathroom clean. Breakfast quite nice. | |||
| Bad Points: Room too noisy - only 30 feet from a main road. Walls very thin - you can hear everything in the next room! Generally other guests going to and from rooms were quite rowdy. Fire alarm goes off at random times. Once went off at 3 am! Reception staff adequate, but quite sullen. | |||
| Further Comments: I have stayed here a few times as it is convenient for work, so my experiences are not based on just one stay. | |||

||
| Good Points: The rooms were very clean and comfortable and spacious. I liked the fact that there were toiletries in the bathroom too, very handy if you have forgotten your soap or shower gel. | |||
| Bad Points: Nothing | |||
| Further Comments: The hotel was very clean and comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful, the information in the reception about the surrounding area was very informative. Breakfast was great value for money, a very nice buffet continental breakfast. I would certainly stay there again. | |||

||
| Good Points: Comfort, cleanliness and overall service | |||
| Bad Points: Location - i.e. difficulty in finding the hotel, but this was mainly due to the local road layout. | |||
| Further Comments: Maybe it's an Express By Holiday Inn thing, but I presumed that we would have been able to pay extra for a cooked english breakfast. Instead, the hotel had no cooking facilities at all so we had to make do with continental breakfast. Also there are no eating places (apart from MacDonalds) within walking distance so to avoid driving it required a taxi ride (which isn't very easy on a Saturday night) into nearby Litchfield where there is quite a good choice of restaurants. | |||

| Good Points: Clean and tidy. Felt comfortable there. | |||
| Bad Points: Noise from outside | |||
| Further Comments: NOISE from traffic outside was unbearable. It was very warm during the night and had to open the window a bit because the room was not equipped with AC. Had little sleep. | |||

||
| Good Points: Hotel had very easy access to major roads. The room was a good size and clean. | |||
| Further Comments: On checking in we were told that there was no hot water due to a broken boiler and it wouldn't be fixed until later the following day. We were offered a free transfer to a nearby hotel and because of this no discount could be given if we chose to stay in this hotel. We decided to stay and made do with a cold shower (which on one of the hottest days of the year, was very welcome). | |||

||
| Good Points: Handy location. | |||
| Bad Points: Rooms very poor standard. Lack of restaurant or liesure facilities. High cost. | |||
| Further Comments: Very basic accomodation with low standards of comfort and cleanliness. No proper restaurant and food practically inedible. Perhaps a good hotel for travelling salesmen and the like but do not book if you are used to any level of comfort and service. | |||
| 20 Business Trip - 27/05/06 |
|
||
| Good Points: Ease of checking in and checking out | |||
| Bad Points: Initially I was givena room on the ground floor, as a single young female I was concerned about the location and so asked to be moved to amother floor - I was relocated, thank you. However my room was next to the lift which I found very noisy and did disrupt my sleep a little | |||
| Further Comments: Not bad, would stay again. A colleague didnt recommend I eat at the hotel due to poor choice on the menu so I went elsewhere. Hotel clean and staff were helpful | |||
