Best Western Birch Hotel near Brighton: Brighton Hotels

Good Points: Well established with friendly staff. Accommodation not spacious but more than adequate for an overnight.
Bad Points: Breakfast was a bit shambolic - not enough tables nor staff to let you know how to get the food. There was some sort of wedding exhibition going on in what, I am told, is normally the breakfast dining area - this could account for the shortcomings.
Further Comments: I have stayed at The Birch before and knew what to expect. Everything, apart from the shambolism at breakfast, was up to standard - friendly and helpful staff; clean and comfortable accommodation; and, pleasant, well maintained, communal areas.

Bad Points: Sauberkeit Restaurant/Frhstck, Planung Zimmerlage ruhig/laut Einzelgast bei gleichzeitigen fremden Veranstaltungen, Verfgbarkeit Haarf￶n
Further Comments: Anfragen ob Veranstaltungen stattfinden und entsprechend ruhige Zimmerlage verlangen!

Good Points: We have known the Birch for many years and generally satisfactory
Bad Points: Bar staff seemed inexperienced,Public area noisy and not very comfortable
Further Comments: We were informed a saturday function was booked, but not told the Lounge area was covered with a temporary dance floor and the seating removed so we had to meet friends in the public bar area before dining and after find somewhere else to talk above the noise.

Further Comments: Mein Zimmer h￤tte fr zwei Personen das Gleiche gekostet ( 90 Pfund ),war also zu teuer - trotz Prozente! Ich bin brigens ein Mann - also Herr Ocker.....

Good Points: Good accomodation, bit noisy during early morning with lorry and cars on the parkingplace.
Bad Points: Hotel is very good.
Further Comments: Good stay, good diner and breakfasts. Distance to our purpose, Bluebell Railway at Sheffield Park station, was just enough by car.

Bad Points: The bedroom should be aired, there was no air conditioning.

Bad Points: The room was very hot and we were unable to open a window.

Good Points: Staff are very accommodating and helpful.
Bad Points: Internet access in rooms would be useful - I know some rooms at the hotel are equipped with a second telephone point for this use, but not all.
Further Comments: Hotel staff are very helpful, friendly and accommodating. I think the room rates are high and when using the hotel for other activities it would be nice to have some sort of discount on room rate. Generally always a good experience at The Birch.

Good Points: The room was clean, comfortable and quiet.
Bad Points: The extractor fan in the bathroom was not very powerful - it got quite stuffy in there.
Further Comments: The selection and quality of breakfast was superb and the staff provided an atmosphere of a local small hotel despite the large number of rooms.

Bad Points: The smoking section just off the lobby on the way to the room
Further Comments: The hotel offered a good quality of amenities and service, in a location that was ideal for exploring West Sussex, and in easy reach of Brighton.

Further Comments: A very nice hotel with all the amenities you would expect from a 3* hotel. Good location and highly recommended.

Bad Points: No Channel 5, no movie choice and a shower that was dribbling rather than powering
Further Comments: Too far to walk to town to decent restauarants so the only option was to have a mediocre and expensive meal in the hotel dining room.

Good Points: warm room,good breakfast, interesting public rooms and the bar was reasonably priced.overall good value.
Bad Points: for a family room , it was a little cramped ,but to be fair we did book late.

Further Comments: The Hotel is a clean and friendly place to stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall the hotel was excellent value for money and I would not hesitate in booking the same hotel again if in the area.

Further Comments: The hotel did the job that i wanted it to. A convenient overnite stay after my brother's wedding nearby. There was no hassle in getting back late at nite and the breakfast was nice in the morning.
