Good Points: Rooms small but clean, comfortable bed, good pillows. Most importantly for business traveller, internet access was good.
Bad Points: No power outlets close to the desk to plug in laptop--had to work on the bed.

Good Points: Firstly being centrally situated and within easy walking distance of the shops,restaurants and the castle. The rooms had character, the staff were very helpful.
Bad Points: Would have liked a more efficient shower but that might have been a water pressure problem (we were on the second floor) Nothing else to dislike.
Further Comments: Booking through Active Hotels was easy,and their cancellation policy was reassuring. The information provided when we searched and booked was all we needed. It was lovely to have breakfast overlooking the river and watching a pair of Great Crested Grebes (as well as all the swans).

Good Points: Staff were excellent.
Bad Points: Room at front of hotel was very noisey from 5am onwards with deliveries etc. Room needs to be double glazed.
Further Comments: The hotel and views are fabulous. Breakfast is very disappointing but Dinner at Stroks beats the Waterside at Bray.

Good Points: great view from the restaurant, wonderful bathroom, the Molton Brown Products gave a real touch of home, a beautiful building for a hotel.
Bad Points: small bedroom, having to walk out of the hotel to the reach the spa
Further Comments: We enjoyed the atmosphere and staying in a historical place. All staff were friendly and breakfast in the restaurant was a highlight.

Good Points: Central location, clean and friendly staff
Bad Points: Could not really find fault with our accommodation however, the rooms were a little dark and did not have adequate lighting.

Good Points: It was difficult to gauge, but I did not get any bad vibes from the staff I met or asked help from.
Bad Points: In the short time I was there nothing!
Further Comments: My time there was too short, arrived at 7.30pm and left at 5.45am...no meals or even a drink in the bar.
