The White Horse Inn near Salisbury: Salisbury Hotels

Good Points: The room was spacious and clean. Ease of access to city and transportation was perfect.
Bad Points: Telephones in rooms. Post hours of Operation on building.
Further Comments: Let me first extend my gratitude to Debbie and Tony the hosts of this fine establishment. They treat you like family, warm, cosiderate and friendly. Those that book accomodations at the White Horse should know that their concerns and wishes will be addressed. I would recommend a stay to anyone to include those I supervise that may travel to Salisbury. I hope to pass their way again and will book the White Horse when I do. Please pass this on to Debbie and Tony if possible. Thanks for the opportunity to compliment them and their fine establishment. Good Points: A very friendly welcome, even though we arrived late in the evening
Further Comments: The White Horse Hotel is a friendly pub with rooms upstairs. The room we stayed in was a good size with a large bathroom, and the DVD in the room was a bonus. But Castle Street is quite noisy, and on a hot summer's evening with the windows open, we were aware of traffic throughout the night. We were disappointed with the 'continental' breakfast, and felt that our stay was poor value for money.

Good Points: It was clean, comfortable, convenient.
Further Comments: Needed to book somewhere central in Salisbury as was coming by train(is only a short walk from the station) and the website gave me enough information to choose the right place. Was a great place to stay. Staff were very welcoming, there was live music in the pub that evening and place had a great atmosphere. Recommend it.
