Good Points: Two twin rooms used. Clean and well presented, with more than adequate facilities.
Bad Points: One room was warm, the other was not - apparent failure of the electric heating system.
Further Comments: Good directions to the hotel from the nearby motorway. Directions to local fuel given verbally - perhaps a link or guide on the website would be useful.

Good Points: Friendly staff, right next to a Harvester Restaurant and the Brittania Stadium!
Bad Points: We were booked into a non-smoking room, but as it was near to the lobby, smoke from the bar area drifted in under the door!
Further Comments: I would like to have known that it was near to a Harvester Restaurant for our evening meal, and the Brittania Stadium for the view! Although the room was non-smoking, smoke from guests in the bar area drifted in under the door throughout the evening and was unpleasant.

Good Points: Fairly standard hotel room but clean, bright and quite pleasant.
Bad Points: Ensure the room 'key' cards work!! As the room was exactly the farest from reception, it became a real annoyance when every time I tried to open the room door, the 'key' wouldn't work. And at 2am it is not amusing. Also the floor corners in the bathroom had evidently not been cleaned for a very long time.
Further Comments: I would have like better instructions for actually getting to the hotel. Roads are being rebuilt all around and even though I telephoned, the advise was from someone who knows the area well - there are NO signs on the roads and I was told the hotel was next to Brutannia Stadium and that I couldn't miss it. Britannia Stadium looks like a factory unit, was not lit up and I didn't even see it in the dark!

Good Points: The room was clean, well provided with coffee etc
Bad Points: The beds were far too soft. The fire alarm went off at about 8.45am and stopped after about 2 or 3 minutes. We received no explanation or apology.

Good Points: Very clean and comfortable and close to the the theme park we were visiting. We stay here every year.
Bad Points: Nothing, very happy with our stay and always go back to the Holiday Inn Express at Stoke.
Further Comments: Only thing I would like to have known about was the Road Works and Building work that was going on outside the Hotel, was a bit inconvienent and noisey but did not spoil our stay. The Hotel is comfortable and the staff are helpful. Ample parking and easy to find from the M6 with the helpful directions given by the receptionist. Would not hesitate in using the Hotel again or reccommending to anyone else.

Good Points: The checking in and out process was efficient and friendly
Bad Points: Just a small thing but check the batteries in the TV remote control occasionally. A biscuit or so with the tea / coffee facility would be nice.
Further Comments: Thought the the hotel was clean efficient and all in all a pleasant place to stay after a day at Alton Towers, convenient and easliy found.

Good Points: A very pleasant hotel which I would recommend to family and friends wishing to stay in one of your hotels.Good choice for breakfast and excellent rooms.
Bad Points: We were put in a smoking room and as non smokers we thought the room should have been air freshened and net curtains washed.
Further Comments: Excellent accommodation which we thoroughly enjoyed and would tell anyone we knew to use the hotel.
