Good Points: Friendly staff, good breakfast
Bad Points: no keetle in rooms, no lift and on top floor with heavy suitcase!

Good Points: Staff were freindly, the hotel was very clean & well presented
Bad Points: The room was rather hot, although there was a fan, but this became annoying when trying to sleep.
Further Comments: The hotel and room facilities were very adequate, the tea & coffee provided free was very nice. The overnight room service was a bit dissapointing. We ordered a sake and recieved a japanese lager! the porter didn't know what sake was, even though it was on the menu. Breakfast served in the room attracted an additional ￂﾣ10 charge, which we felt was rather high. Hotels we have stayed at previously, including 5 star, have not charged for this service.

Good Points: Everything was very good. Things that stood out were staff friendliness, homely feel, good standard of decor/cleanliness

Further Comments: I am only being critical as we were very happy with our stay, but as it was very hot when we stayed, the rooms only had a small inadequete fan, which made it quite uncomfortable. Also I would have preferred breakfast in the dining room. Eating off a table whilst sitting on a sofa/arm chair is not that easy! Finally I have stayed in less expensive hotels with slightly better facilities. For ￂﾣ185 per night for a normal size double room I would expect some more 'luxury' special touches. Also you would expect at least a pool, gym, lift, big garden etc. (obviously not possible in this hotel due to location) for this amount of money. The amount of facilities in a hotel should be reflected in the price as well as standard of room/staff/food etc.

Good Points: The location was excellent within easy walking distance of all the historical sights and also shops and cafes. The Japanese restaurant was also excellent including the helpful advice about the various dishes on offer.
Bad Points: I really have no dislikes except perhaps the location for breakfast. It is not a major issue however.
Further Comments: I found all the information I had from the website was fully informative including the directions to the hotel. It was useful to have free internet access available also the car parking. My only complaint and it is not unique to the Windsor, is the lack of proper lighting in the bedroom for reading.

Good Points: Very nice room, good size for the price and very quiet.

Further Comments: Very good Hotel. Free car parking in garage or off street. Excellent location for Bath City and also very easy and quick to find from the main roads into Bath.
