Good Points: The warmth of the welcome, the cleanliness, the beautiful surroundings, the surprise after reading dreadful reviews on the Internet, and the close proximity to Jane Austen's Bath.
Bad Points: Having to leave so my husband could go back to work.
Further Comments: I booked this in a hurry and nearly cancelled at the last moment after reading such poor reviews on the Internet. The Windsor is now under new ownership and everything appears to have been addressed. The welcome was warm, the room beautiful, air conditioning,an excellent breakfast especially the sausages!, the proximity to the town centre and Jane Austen lived in the next street at one time and would probably have walked passed the front door! This was a perfect receipe to an excellent break and have already recommended the Windsor to several friends.

Good Points: Great location, beautiful rooms and friendly staff.
Further Comments: The Rooms were very good, clean and very tidy. The hotel is excellently located for the city centre (about 5 mins walk) and the staff were amazing, the friendliest I have experienced in the UK! The hotel makes the Bath experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay again if I am in Bath again!

Good Points: The hotel had lots of character and the location was brilliant - you looked down the road and you could see the town centre.
Further Comments: We had a ready enjoyable stay. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. There was side street car parking on the local roads but it wasn't free. It requires a permit which you can hire from the hotel.
