Good Points: After a stressful few months it was lovely to take the family away and have everything on site to amuse the little ones. We could have stayed at the hotel for the whole three days. Staff were down to earth and you could have a decent conversation with them. They also put up with our intense lad and his questions.
Bad Points: The only negative point to raise is that it rained most of the weekend !!!
Further Comments: Half the joy of such a break is the unexpected nature of where you are going. I genuinely cannot find a fault with this hotel or its staff. As a suggestion for the future a small playground may help.

Further Comments: The carpet in the Hotel is hideous, also there is a miss match of furniture in the sitting area. At Breakfast on Sunday, we had to wait along time for your poached eggs?

Further Comments: restaurant food and bar food was very expensive and next to nothing on your plate.

Good Points: lovely view from the restaurant. Staff very friendly : )
Bad Points: restaurant was a bit pricey and so were the films and music (available to purchase on the television)

Good Points: Smart modern rooms.
Bad Points: Lack of bath in general especially with young child. Beds were far too soft. Service during breakfast was poor - we were not offered any drinks or toast and when we did ask it took along time to arrive.

Further Comments: I wanted a hotel in Portsmouth but because of the Great South Run, I was unable to get one, however we were really pleased that we stayed @ the Langstone. Reception staff were a bit distant on arrival, the restaurant staff however were brilliant both for dinner and breakfast. The food was wonderful, dinner was fabulous and the breakfast I have to say was the best of all the hotels I have stayed in.
