Heights Hotel & Leisure Centre near Weymouth: Weymouth Hotels

Good Points: Room was comfortable, clean and reasonable size for short stay
Bad Points: Price seemed relatively high for time of year (November) and that breakfast was not included. A games room (eg Darts, Poole table) would be nice to have.
Further Comments: Hotel location offers great views being on highest point of Portland; especially from the restaurant. Breakfast was good with efficient service. Convenient access into Weymouth, bus stop outside hotel with regular service; taxi back ￂﾣ20 approx. It's a shame that the hotel doesnt have an indoor pool.

Good Points: The unique setting, friendly, helpful staff.
Bad Points: Having to leave by 11:00am and not being able to make use of the leisure facilities.

Good Points: Location was our reason to come here. Unfortunately there was torrential rain and mist so the best aspect of the hotel was not fully appreciated
Bad Points: Room was a bit small and decoration a little tired (just the room - hotel reception and bar were good)
Further Comments: In common with all three of the south coast hotels we stayed in, cleaners tried to enter the room soon after 9 when we wished to lie in and take full advantage of the 11 a.m. check out time. Because of the weather we could not take full advantage of the elevated position and views from the hotel. This was the reason we paid above our normal budget but only the British weather was to blame.

Good Points: staff were really helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble,they made us feel like royalty...
Bad Points: nothing really all in all a good place
Further Comments: This is a really nice hotel to book into as it has everything you need, should the day outside not be suitable. Yes we were comfortable and well looked after..Thank You for employing staff such as yours because that really makes all the difference, with the willingness and GENUINE care they show you from the moment you arrive till you leave....Once again thank you...Job Well Done!!!!

Bad Points: The mattress was extremely uncomfortable and found the room quite dated, ie old plumbing etc..
Further Comments: This was not an inexpensive hotel and expected a little more for our money.Dissapointed and would not return.

Further Comments: The person who checked us in was excellent. She gave us useful information about the bus service and she asked us if we wanted to book into the restaurant for an evening meal. While we had no intention of doing so I was impressed that she asked. I work for a Car Rental company and I would like to employ that should of person to work at one of my branches. The whole experience was first class.

Bad Points: Poor manangement and staff, rooms could do with a complete refit.
Further Comments: Difinately vist Portland it is just amazing and we will be going back BUT would no way stay at the Heights Hotel, complete waste of money, there are better hotels in Weymouth and are a much better standard.
