Good Points: The age of the building, The rooms were very nice with tea or coffee and biscuits. Ensuite shower room and we liked the bar and restaraunt especially the seats. Also the accomodation was nice and central for touring.
Bad Points: None, except when it is hot and stuffy in the rooms they could do with some sort of air conditioning. Apart from that, it was first class.
Further Comments: We could not fault the hotel, the service from the young people who run the hotel was pleasant and freindly so was the rest of the staff, nothing was to much trouble. The rooms with all the amineties apart from being to hot at night because of a Indian Summer, was beautiful, even a alarm/radio clock. We both liked the unusual seats in the bar and restaraunt. The breakfast in the mornings, well what can I say we were well fed with a more than a full English breakfast. I have said before the Hotel was in a lovely little village nice and central for touring. We would certainly recommend this hotel to other people and consider of staying there again. We would like to thank you for a nice minny holiday.

Bad Points: Shower should have better temperature controls
Further Comments: I found this a most pleasant stay with good quality food and rooms, the only drawback was the ineffective shower in the morning, and some traffice noise during the night. Happy to stay here again

Good Points: Really friendy staff, nice decor in bar and restaurant.
Bad Points: The ironing board provided kept collapsing - this could have been quite serious if the iron had fallen on me! The toilet roll holder in the bathroom was not secured. When I went to check out, the girl in reception couldn't find the manager and I had to show her how to use the PDQ machine in order for her to take payment from me!
Further Comments: Good value. The few minor niggles didn't detract from our experience. The noise from the main road was quite intrusive. Overall, a good place to stay. The staff really made the stay enjoyable.
