Good Points: good location and friendly staff
Bad Points: standard of the room
Further Comments: We found the hotel staff really friendly and helpful and the location was excellent, within easy walking distance to the town and sea front. However the room we had was in need of a refurb. There were holes in the door and the carpet was stained and burnt.

Good Points: The pool and jacuzzi were almost deserted. Lots of fresh towels.
Bad Points: The breakfast was pretty uninspiring.
Further Comments: I would liked to have known a little bit more about the location as the hotel was on a busy road.

Good Points: Good size room
Bad Points: Uncomfortable bed.TV old with poor choice of sky channels.Bedding not changed throughout 10 day stay.
Further Comments: Breakfast was good with fresh produce.Pool was in state of repair,tiles missing & broken in jaccuzzi & surrounding area,left for children to tread on.

Bad Points: Uncomfortable bed.TV old with poor choice of sky channels.Bedding not changed throughout 10 day stay.

Good Points: The hotel is centrally located and good for access to surrounding towns and villages. Breakfast was vey good.
Bad Points: The hotel is located on a very busy road. Quite a lot of noise at night from traffic and people shouting after the bars and clubs had closed. All rooms could do with double glazing and air conditioning so that you can close the windows at night in warm weather, therefore blocking out the noise.

Bad Points: Slightly awkward room location
Further Comments: The hotel somewhat exceeded expectations. It was very convenient for accessing all local amenities. The accommodation represented excellent value and the food was particularly good. Any negative comment would be limited to the car park where parking was restricted by the presence of a coach and parking bays were not always clearly defined.

Good Points: Excellent location - very central for B.I.C., pier, shops and beach - all within 5 minutes walk.
Bad Points: Not much - noisy fan in bathroom that's all!
Further Comments: Good hotel which was better value than perceived when booking. Excellent location as only 5 mins walk to beach, pier, shops, gardens, B.I.C. etc. Hotel has separate bar which is very nicely decorated and does excellent pub good at great prices. Also separate quieter area for pre- dinner drink. Entertainment was provided in pub by way of a live singer, and Saturday evening had a D.J. also. Not sure if this is usual as it was Easter weekend when we visited but great for families nevertheless. Overall a great choice for location and facilities at a good price.

Good Points: Nothing exceptional to like, the location in relation to the BIC was the only thing in its favour and I chose that myself.
Bad Points: The decor in the room looked tired, it was like stepping into a 1970s timewarp. Leisure facilities were disappointing, Pool was cool, Sauna was cold. Could do with a fridge in the room.
Further Comments: UK Hotels are generally more expensive than in other parts of the world, they don't represent good value for money. I would be more likley to use a B & B that offers a more personal homely service, generally of a better standard decor & facilities-wise than larger hotels. On this occasion it was not convenient to our visit, so we had to accept the poor value for money choice we made. The staff are a credit to the hotel, shame the hotel looks and feels tired.
