The Belvedere Hotel near Bournemouth: Bournemouth Hotels

Good Points: absolutely nothing
Bad Points: the bed. the breakfast. the breakfast staff.
Further Comments: the breakfast was disgusting. the sheets gave me and my partner carpet like burns from just turning on them and the breakfast staff were rude. the bed was like sleeping on concrete.

Good Points: Fantastic location, just a couple of minutes walk to seafront/pier.
Bad Points: Bedrooms need updating and bathrooms very small with poor shower.
Further Comments: The hotel has a good indoor pool with jacuzzi and sauna. The staff were friendly but th rooms are dated and the bathrooms smaall - okay for 1 or two nights. Great location (although the walk back up hiil is dodgy after a few cocktails at the pier!) Breakfast was good with plenty of choice (only meal we ate at hotel so can't comment on rest).

Good Points: Great food, great atmosphere
Further Comments: Fab hotel, really close to the beach, town centre and restaurants and clubs, food is great, really liked the bar. Itￃﾂ￢ﾀﾙs really easy to find. Great value for money.

Good Points: Quite quaint - in good central position. Leisure facilities small but quite appealling. Good breakfast
Bad Points: Rather tired and run down place - room next to creeky stairs affecting sleep - toilet hard to flush - musky smell around the place.
Further Comments: All in all a bit dissappointing as not overly cheap to stay in. Rooms and building a bit tired and musky. Worse bit was our small room was next to the creeky stairs and from around 6am on the Sunday monring after quite a late night we got constantly woken by creeking stair boards.

Good Points: The fact that it was very close to where i needed to be and it had free car parking.
Bad Points: I didnt have any hot water for 2 days and none of the staff offered me another room, knowing there was more rooms available.They kept on saying the problem was being delt with, but within my stay it was never sorted.
Further Comments: It wasnt what i expected as the hotel was very dated and the floor boards where creaky, which was quite anoying.

Further Comments: most enjoyable,all the staff were very wellcoming and friendly,the hotel clearly well looked after,and the breakfast,well plenty of choice available,superb!

Good Points: Good, clean accommodation, great location, good facilities, friendly staff. Nothing to moan about really.
Bad Points: Slightly tired decor in places.

Good Points: The friendliness of staff on reception and in the dining room. A superb room with a sea view, which we did not expect.
Bad Points: Uncomfortable bed...extremely hard.
Further Comments: Excellent location with parking facilities , which is an absolute must in Bournemouth.

Good Points: Very clean hotel. Very good staff attitude. Loved the pool, jacuzzi & sauna.
Bad Points: Shower/hot water system needs attention. Had to run the tap for one minute before hot water came through.
Further Comments: We stayed at the hotel in February. Hotel was good but unfortunately there was not alot to do in Bournemouth at this time of year as it was out of season.

Good Points: The Hotel was very comfortable, we felt that we could relax. The room was quite adequate for our needs. A very pleaseant stay.
Further Comments: The instructions on how to find the Hotel were excelent, the check in was very good. The bar area was quite small and smokey, and although there was seating elseware it was not near a bar. I would have liked some information on the Hotel, there was no information in the room as to times of opening of the restaurant or a map of the Hotel, as there are a lot of corridors and stairs it was a bit confusing. Overall though we had a very nice and relaxing few days. Thankyou.

Good Points: good location and friendly staff

Further Comments: We found the hotel staff really friendly and helpful and the location was excellent, within easy walking distance to the town and sea front. However the room we had was in need of a refurb. There were holes in the door and the carpet was stained and burnt.
