Good Points: Easy to find and proximity
Bad Points: the hotel would benefit from refurbishment, it is dated and feels more like an old people's home.
Further Comments: It fulfilled its purpose for a 1 night stay, I would not stay there any longer.

Good Points: Excellent en suite facilities for a single room.
Bad Points: Located over the kitcehn so lost of banging of pots and pans around meal times. (room 24)
Further Comments: Excellenty location justr a short walk (up hill in part,on return) from town centre. Fast and efficient dinning service. Clean rooms and welcoming staff.

Further Comments: Typical Bournemouth hotel, slightly run down, decorated 20 years ago. Room was Clean. Staff could have been friendlier on check in, no warmth about the lady.

Good Points: The location was good. very close to main high street with many bars and restaurants
Bad Points: The strong smell of damp in the reception area and the creaking floor - every step was heard
Further Comments: We booked as a party of four but on arrival we were given rooms on seperate floors??? When we questioned this, were advised we should have requested rooms next door to each other under 'special requests'. As the booking was for 2 couples, this seems a little 'job worth'. Receptionist did manage to give us adjacent rooms. Rooms were pretty dated, although clean and tidy. Shower ran hot or cold. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Good Points: It was close to where we needed to be in Bournmouth. The service at breakfast was very good as was the breakfast. The bed was comfortable
Bad Points: The hotel looks a bit dated. The shower in the room was really tempermental.

Bad Points: The towels were dirty, the room was freezing, the beds weren't very comfortable, noone exploited the leisure facilities (only realised on leaving there was a swimming pool)!

Bad Points: Perthaps a few more packs of beverages/milk - but this is a minor point.
Further Comments: THE HOTEL WAS WELL MAINTAINED. STAFF WERE FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. THE EVENIKNG MEAL WAS OK - NOT GREAT COOKING, BUT PLENTIFUL. THE ROOMS WERE BETTER THAN MANY OTHERS WE'VE STAYED IN. WE WOULD HAPPILY STAY AT THE BURLEY HOTEL AGAIN
