Good Points: Hotel was clean, staff were excellent and everything we might have needed was there. Location was perfect for easy access to the beach and town.
Bad Points: Room was a slightly strange shape and layout, but I understand we had the last available room and I'm sure the other are far more conventional!
Further Comments: Very enjoyable stay, wish we had had longer than just one night to be there!

Further Comments: The Hotel needs a revamp it was very old looking,the breakfast was not a lot of it the room was ok the shower was rubbish the tea and coffee we had enough for one cup each overall the Accommodation was not good.

Good Points: On arrival at the hotel I was upgraded to a double-room - a bargain when I only paid ￃﾂￂﾣ35!
Bad Points: The only problem I had with my room was the fact that there was no hot water when having a shower
Further Comments: I chose this hotel as it was close to The Olde Fire Station. The location was ideal and I couldn't really fault anything about Burley Court (apart from the lack of hot water).

Good Points: Excellent value for money, friendly staff.
Bad Points: The hotel is a little 'tired' and in need of refurbishment.
Further Comments: The hotel was very quiet, however the staff were very welcoming and attentive. The hotel is looking old but the room was clean, functional and everything apart from the clock radio worked. The shower was small and leaked slightly but it wasn't a problem. As a business traveller I would have preferred breakfast to start earlier than 8:00am

Good Points: hotel generally clean and efficient. Staff welcoming,courteous and helpful.
Bad Points: As vegetarians food choice poor. Accommodation noisy - lack of sound proofing. Wash basin poorly situated.

Bad Points: The room was very old fashioned but clean. The toilet in the bathroom had a cracked seat and the shower over the bath had no shower curtain or enclosure of any kind and the shower head was fixed about 4 feet up the wall. This is no good when you're 6 foot 1!

Further Comments: I have stayed at this hotel before and found the staff very pleasant, the breakfasts very good and overall ambience very satisfactory.I would liked to have known beforehand if the single room I had booked had a bath or a shower.
