Good Points: Near to Rotherham town centre - easy walking distance (10-15mins)
Further Comments: Parking facilities at hotel. Full english breakfast included, not just continental as indicated. Night bar.

Good Points: Convenient access from the M1 with good parking. Well equipped and very attractive fitness suite. Good buffet breakfast
Bad Points: Bar snacks were disappointing
Further Comments: A modern style hotel with typical accommodation, clean, pleasant and functional but without a great deal of character. Very much a business centre with conferences in progress and large groups of people working and relaxing together. Probably more suited to the corporate market than an intimate break for two.

Good Points: The location of the hotel was ideal. Secluded and pleasant yet close to local amenities. Our stay at the hotel, was a short one but an overall pleasent one nevertheless.
Bad Points: Unfortunately, both myself and my partner felt that our accommodation lacked value for money, in comparison to previous hotels we have stayed at. For instance, the room seemed to be rather small, in comparison.
Further Comments: Although the location of the hotel was pleasant and secluded and the atmosphere around the hotel was welcoming and relaxing. Myself, and my partner felt as if the room we were allocated was insufficient for our needs. We have stayed in hotels pervious to this one, that offered, in my opinion a much better value for money.

Good Points: Very clean and tidy well presented rooms, with good facilities.
Bad Points: The extractor fan in the bathroom didnt work. Extra pillows for the bed would have been good.
Further Comments: A v good hotel with helpfull and friendly staff. Within easy walking distance of Rotherham centre.

Good Points: The room was clean and large
Bad Points: We could not dial out and the Internet access did not work propoerly
Further Comments: The web site described the room and facilities very well except that the gym was closed due to alterations. There was no access to the Internet nor could I dial to any outside teephone number.

Good Points: The four poster bed. Cleanliness of the hotel.
Bad Points: Staff. Atomosphere of the resturant and bar areas.

Good Points: A quiet room, despite the wedding disco downstairs
Bad Points: Non-smoking room smelt strongly of tobacco smoke. The staff tried to dispel the smell with an air freshener and opened the window whilst we were out, which was an improvement.
Further Comments: The reception staff were helpful and efficient. The breakfast service was not up to the standard expected. Staff were lethargic, almost disinterested. No smiles or Good Mornings.

Further Comments: very comfortable if i had/have to stay in a hotel in Rotherham i would definately stay at the Carlton Park Hotel again e.t.c everything was how i expected it to be taxi service was good and also on time (good value for money)

Good Points: Comfortable clean and well appointed
Bad Points: Restaurant facilites are excellent. However the evening meal really let the whole experience of the stay down.Less emphasis on a la carte and more emphasis on fresh and well prepared dishes recommended. The meal was to the standard of excellent bar food, but not high enough standard for a hotel restaurant. Pride in Service could be developed further. Everything seemed to come with a ready made (?tinned) sauce!
