Good Points: Great spacious rooms and fantastic building and surroundings
Bad Points: Little shabby in some areas but it is being renovated so should be fixed
Further Comments: We had a lovely stay only spoilt by the swimming pool being out of order trhoughout our stay which was one of the primary reasons for booking it so the children were very disappointed. We had no advance notice of this being the case until we got their with our swimming costumes.

Further Comments: We booked this weekend to use the pool and other facilities. The pool was closed but we were not told in advance. This was extremely disappointing. We will recommend this hotel to others but only if we can see the facilities working. The staff are lovely.

Good Points: the room had lots of space and was well equiped
Bad Points: difficult to find room to start off with. More staff needed behind bar as very slow service
Further Comments: I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The apartment was very nice with lots of space. Would go back again.

Good Points: spacious
Bad Points: cleanliness and the decor which was in a bad state of repair, holes in the plaster work and dirty hall carpets
Further Comments: disapointed, probably looking for another venue now, we have stayed here about 15 times in the past 3 years, but this stay was not good. Breakfast is ropey now as well.

Good Points: For four ladies looking for a relaxing weekend the accommodation was absolutely fabulous - two separate bedrooms, two bathrooms and a great living room to chill out in and talk, and talk. We were also just across from the spa which was very convenient - we had a sauna, steam and swim and relaxed in the poolside recliners. Great!
Bad Points: The dining area
Further Comments: For four ladies looking for a relaxing weekend the accommodation was absolutely fabulous. Two separate bedrooms, two bathrooms and a great living room to chill out in and talk, and talk. We were also just two minutes from the Spa where we enjoyed the sauna, steam room and swimming pool. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is ideally situated for sight seeing around Warwick and Shakespeare country.

Good Points: the staff were extremely helpful and proffesional, especially the reception staff. the size of the room was impresive.
Bad Points: the food was excellent however, the menu was limited. also the dining room 'extension' we sat in made us feel a little like second rate diners.
Further Comments: the hotel is impresive with excellent staff and facilities, we will return but will insist on dining in the main restaurant. we sat in an ajoining room which was next to a draughty door/window. also, when we booked we were under the impression that they offered 24 hour room service and this wasn't the case. overall a very good hotel offering excellent value for money.

Bad Points: your staff are willing and helpful but they seem under-trained and a bit chaotic
Further Comments: when we arrived at 3.30 our room was not ready - we did not get into it till after 4. this rather disrupted our overall plans as we wanted to swim and eat before going the the theatre. because of the delay we did not get to do this. Given we have two children of opposite sexes aged 14 and 11 - it would have been much better if we had had a twin bedded and a double room. Our room - the second bedroom in particular was not properly cleaned - there was dust all over the bedside table. The whole hotel - particularly parts of the breakfast room were very cold. On the whole I think the hotel provides very good value despite these glitches and I would come again. Beautiful grounds and good leisure facilities,

Good Points: plenty of space in a 2 bed apartment.Great to have use of pool,sauna etc. but disappointed jacuzzi was out of action.
Bad Points: Because of large xmas function the night we arrived we felt second best and the food in the conservatory wasn't great but pricey.
Further Comments: The setting was glorious.We saw deer and rabbits as we made our way up the lane at dusk.The weather was good to us - the lawns sparkling in the frosty sunshine.The breakfast room has a fantastic outlook and the roaring fire made it even more festive.The staff were couteous and helpful.The apartment could do with a little TLC but we were grateful

Further Comments: Breakfast doesn't start early enough... There is no room service... The decor was very outdated of the rooms... Staff were inconspicuous throughout the stay...

Good Points: A beautiful location that most certainly needs the planned renovation: It is a real pity that such a lovely old estate has been ruined by the addition of new buildings of poor taste that do not fit in with the original estate's elegance.
Bad Points: Demolish the newer bukldings and renovate with good taste
Further Comments: Good value, large rooms with kitchen was useful too. The newer buildings are of poor taste, but given adequate accommodation considering the cost. The planned estate renovation will no doubt improve the facilities, but overall, as it is, provides good value. The estate grounds are beautiful.
