Good Points: Free parking
Bad Points: Smelly, dirty.
Further Comments: You cannot expect much for 45 pounds but even then;a clean place is not much to ask for!!!

Bad Points: waiting to book in. shower doors not working properly. mildew/ mould around shower panels and tiles. no hot food available for breakfast.
Further Comments: the hotel was easy to find but parking spaces on the front were chained off and a barrier down along side where I assume there was off road parking, therefore ihad to park on the road opposite and cross a very busy road.The front door was locked I had to gain entry by ringing a bell and then for someone to be found so I could book in. I was not told of any parking facillities.At breakfast I found no staff available to order hot food, and was left with a selection of cereals and coffee.

Further Comments: Empfang war sehr freundlich, auch der Rest des Personals war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit in allen Dingen; Zimmer sind dem Preis entsprechend in Ordnung und funktionstￃﾼchtig.

Further Comments: I would not have expected to settle my account at check-in as i had to do. Room fire alarm activated at approx 11.00pm no explanations given.

Good Points: Easy to find, adequate for my needs, pleasant staff and a nice breakfast.
Bad Points: Windows had been left open for airing, no heating on so the room was very cold in the first part of the evening.
Further Comments: The hotel was adequate for my needs, 2 night acc. whilst working in the city. The hotels restaurant was closed although limited food was available from the bar, this prompted me to walk in to town in the evenings. Pleasant and polite staff but little attention to detail, complemetary tea/coffee not replenished. The bed was clean and room quite for a good nights sleep. I would use the hotel again but would be selective about who I would recommend it to.

Good Points: It was clean, ok, unprepossessing but all right. I'd recommend it to impoverished science fiction writers.
Bad Points: Well, tobacco smoke is better when it stays inside the smoker.
Further Comments: The staff at desk were really nice. The girl serving breakfast was so strange as to cast a shadow over the whole experience of staying at the hotel. She was memorably awful but without being able to say why. She didn't actually do anything 'wrong' but nor did she do anything 'right'. She transcended the rules of normal human existence somehow. She managed to have no manners at all without being intentionally rude. It was so disconcerting at that time of the morning that I could hardly eat m breakfast. Could she have been a grim and rather aloof droid from another planet ? She lent to the breakfast room a totally surrealistic quality like I'd discovered the chief executive actually but secretly emptying the rubbish bins. She's probably a nice girl but I'm not sure she has found her vocation or maybe it just wasnt' an 'on' day for her. As I say before, she didn't actually do anything wrong, but then nor did she do anything right.

Good Points: The proprietors and staff were very friendly and helpful, and keen to please the guests. The room was comfortable.
Bad Points: Staff coverage in the restaurant, in order to help the speed of service in the restaurant. Although comfortable, the room decor was a little tired. The web page for this hotel contained inadequate directions for how to get there.
Further Comments: Whilst we were happy with this hotel overall, both the accomodation and food was to an acceptable standard, our stay was somewhat spoilt by loud voices and banging doors in the proximity of our room which disturbed our sleep

Good Points: Friendly staff, and good value for money. A convenient Hotel for walking into Nottingham.
Bad Points: Room redecoration and working central heating, but to be fair, the present owners acquired the Hotel recently.
Further Comments: We thought the information provided was accurate, and enabled us to choose this hotel for its location and inclusive parking. A picture of the rooms likely to be booked, would be helpful for a comparison, with alternative accomodation.

Good Points: good reception area,friendly staff,good bar area with fair beer prices warm and cosy bar and reception.
Bad Points: bedroom in need of renovation including bathroom,tired and drab,heating did not work(they brought in an electric heater without being asked)door to room had a dodgy lock and had to be slammed to shut it tight,black mould around shower area, sink taps require new washers.
Further Comments: Although the staff were nice and helpful the upstairs area(bedrooms and passageways)arein need of renovation to bring it into the modern worled,car parking was good but the security gate was not working. The atmosphere of the place was lacking due to the lack of people in the hotel.

Good Points: Food good, attractive restaurant
Bad Points: Cleanliness of room, heating, decor. Remove grime and mould form bathroom walls, repair leaking pipe. Unpleasant smell in room.
Further Comments: If In had known that the room was going to be so poor I would not have booked, the room was quite definately the worst I HAVE EVER STAYED IN.

Further Comments: This must be one of the worst hotels I have stayed in there was no hot water the rooms were filthy no breakfast before 8AM and the hotel was freezing cold

Further Comments: overall stay was good,there is nothing else i needed to know before i booked as i asked all the questions before i booked. also hotel description was spot on.

Good Points: Efficient staff. Safe Parking. Good downstairs facilities (i.e. 24 hour bar: Sky TV. Resteraunt.
Bad Points: Updating of rooms. Decorating.
Further Comments: That the rooms were basic and more fitting to contracters accomodation. Although in fairness the very reasonable prices should have gave an idea of this.
