Good Points: It was very clean and everything worked
Bad Points: Slight lack of space and a bit noisy as close to main road
Further Comments: I t was quite difficult to revise the booking for other people in my group and I felt that you had difficulties finding and updating the booking.Could I call Ms Bianco directly to explain how to improve this? I could also make other suggestions including parking which is not easy-especially for those who don't know Nottingham well.

Good Points: It was comfortable. Everything we needed was there.
Bad Points: Nothing
Further Comments: I like the Strathdon because it is central and it has reetained the name with which I am familiar. I therefore knew exactly how to get there. Knowing the one-way system in that part of town helped. There was parking for the car and help with the luggage. The staff were particularly helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel may be a little old-fashioned but that is not a problem. my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Good Points: The hotel itself was lovely and very central to the city.
Bad Points: Bed was smaller than expected, the tv remote didn't work, and experienced a power cut just before my shower in the morning.
Further Comments: Small double rooms are small as they are described, but adequate and clean. The Hotel has some very nice areas to relax in, and is central to all amenities.

Bad Points: No on site parking. Decor very dated. Very warm throughout the night.
Further Comments: The hotel was adequate. The staff were very friendly and helpful, however the hotel is in need of modernising and the room look quite dated and used. The location is very convenient for the city centre. There is no parking onsite which is unfortunate.

Bad Points: top madrass on the bed (could feel the coil springs trough the madrass) A washing sink/battery that doesn't have seperate taps for warm and cold water

Further Comments: I asked for and was told I'd received a non-smoking room. Although it was on a supposed non-smoking floor, the room smelled of cigarettes and had 2 ash-trays. Although it was manageable, as an asthmatic, it was not ok. Also - the only food available was in the bar where it took over 1/2 hour to get food even though I was the only one ordering. The burger when it arrived was dark brown and obviously form the pre-made frozen and unpleasant variety - they' d be better off not offering food if this is what's available.

Good Points: Very good for the purpose required
Bad Points: The bar/reserauant service was absolutely terrible. WWe wewre almost alone in the bar/resteraunt but still had to wait 50 minutes for the starter and again for the main course. A quick snack took 2 hours. We will stay with you again but we will not use you catering services.
Further Comments: The experience was marred by the lousy service in the resteraunt. My daughter was with me and she works in catering. She could not beleive the poor service. What was particularly galling was that the bar staff got their meal while we had to wait. Fried brie, including preperatiomn should take less that 10 minutes not 50. .he answer to your next questiuon is based on this experience alone.

Bad Points: The double beds are (small) standard double bed size. I would expect larger beds at this price and quality of hotel.
Further Comments: Some of the online reviews I read before coming to this hotel complained about cold rooms. I did not find this to be the case. The main window was double glazed and the heating worked. All in all it's an OK hotel. Nothing spectacular but no real complaints. I found the size and comfort of the room to be of lower standard than I would expect at the price, so i would probably not use this hotel again nor recommend it to my friends.

Bad Points: Better double glazing the road noise was noticable.
Further Comments: All ok slept well friend complained about his pillows being rough. Mine was ok.

Good Points: The room had a comfortable bed, and bath and shower with a clean bathroom. It is open 24hrs with a night porter to allow you in early hours of the morning. It was nice having a lift - even though one lift did not work. Delightful Christmas decorations with lovely woodwork in the reception.
Bad Points: Although a pleasant room, it did seem expensive for the size of room and general decor.
Further Comments: The hotel was situated close to Rock City, which was very handy for our stay. Although one particular receptionist was quite friendly on our arrival, and the cleaners were very helpful and cheery - when we were leaving, the other receptionist was quite miserable and lacking customer service skills. She said bye bye and ordered us a taxi - but had her head down, and did not ask us if we had enjoyed our stay, and generally gave the impression she could not be bothered. This is actually what we would remember about our stay there sadly - as we just felt quite unwelcome, and you always remember the bad things.

Good Points: Just a few steps to the city, on 6th floor calm no noise of the trafic. Reach al the whereabouts in the citycenter by walking. Cosy hotel for young pensionados who don't care about luxury hoteltools!!
Bad Points: More time when arrived, for information about the city en envirement. Now we got al the information at the touristpoint, what results in a nice stay for a couple of hours in the Sherwood Forest at Edwinstowe. So we could inform our grandchildren; Yes we were there at the place of Robin Hood, and we saw the very old three 800years old!!
Further Comments: See our information noted above. In our case; more information about nottingham and nottinghamshire and how to reach this bij traffic. Show a map, show youw proud being at the Midlands. Its our first time this part of UK, en we loved the sight-seeing bij bus to the SherwoodForest. We found out, there's more than just the city of Nottingham.
