| Good Points:
The quirky historic quality outways the dated feel to the decor. Adding modern appliances to a historic building must be very difficult. |
| Bad Points:
The menu is awful, in this day and age a little more imagination is required. It is very boring. The breakfast was adequate but very very predictable. The coffee as usual was stewed. |
| Further Comments: I have to stay here as it is the only local venue. I enjoy my stay as the staff are friendly and helpful. |

| Good Points:
Very nice hotel, easy to find off the M4 with plenty of parking, friendly staff and great food. |
| Bad Points:
The majority of the rooms are in an annex building (converted club house or something) which is approximately 20 metres from the main hotel building. It is possible to park right next to the annex but you have to go to the main hotel building for breakfast. Whilst the rooms are comfortable and well equipped they do seem to suffer from having a lot of spiders! |
| Further Comments: I stay in a lot of hotels with my business travelling, a lot of them are so similar I wake up in the morning dazed and confused wondering which part of the country I am in. Not so with Pincents Manor Hotel, it's so quirky and unique it's great! I'll definitely be staying there if I'm down in that part of the world again. |

| Good Points: Location & history. Losts of original features. Very quiet area. |
| Bad Points: Room was cold in the evening then the heating came on around 5am and it was uncomfortably hot. |
| Further Comments: The hotel is very quaint. It has a very relaxed & friendly atmosphere. The rooms are a little dated in places but this sort of adds to the charm. The only down side I found was the excess heat in the morning. |

| Good Points: Very clean and comfortable |
| Bad Points: The room was in an annexe some distance from the hotel requiring the use of a car in bad weather to visit the Dining Room. |
| Further Comments: A very enjoyable stay in a relaxed atmosphere with excellent food and service provided at breakfast. The website warned that the majority
of the rooms were outside the main building but did not make it clear that they were some distance away with access by poor road surfacing in wet weather. |

| Good Points: Lovely period building, cosy seating area, some traditional features.
Superb staff |
| Bad Points: Room 5 was very small, the carpet was rather grubby & the curtains were too thin which made it hard to get to sleep. |
| Further Comments: Very friendly & warm welcome. The staff were brilliant throughout my stay. The restaurant menu was very basic - would probably eat out in future. The TV remote in my room didn't work & the shower wasn't great but for an overnight stay it was fine. Would definately recommend taking a double room for single occupancy instead of a single room in future. |

| Good Points: Staff attitude and helpfulness. Attractive buildings. Good breakfasts. |
| Bad Points: Very small room, very basic equipment. |
| Further Comments: We felt that the tariff was greater than the accommodation warranted. This is probably owing to (a)the location of the hotel in the stockbroker belt and (b)a disproportionate number of guests being business people whose bill was paid from company expenses. In, say, the Lake District, we would have expected better facilities for the tariff paid. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay at Pincents Manor. |
