Good Points: Staff very friendly
Bad Points: Room 25 was very very dusty & not too clean. My daughter has Asma & is allergic to house dust.
Further Comments: The staff should have acted more quickly. Two days later the deputy manager did appoligise & offer a better room next time.

Good Points: Our room was lovely with personal touches such as chocolates and sherry.
Bad Points: Guests should not have to pay for parking and there were not enough spaces for us to park there on the Saturday night.
Further Comments: The hotel was lovely and the staff really attentive and friendly. the restaurant food was fantastic and the best meal we've had for a long time. Ideally situated for all the Shakespeare attractions

Good Points: Central position - near to the theatre. Very good value for money.
Further Comments: We found the staff very helpful. Our room was smallish but we were only booked in for one night so it didn't matter. The bathroom was fine with a good shower. There was a fan in the room, which was useful as it was a muggy night. Breakfast was excellent. Very close to the theatre - would not hesitate to book again.

Good Points: Good position in Stratford.
Bad Points: It's a pity they have stopped calling it the Arden Hotel.
Further Comments: Bright, clean room overlooking the garden - peaceful and pleasant.

Good Points: traditional country house type - relaxed and inviting
Further Comments: Very impressed - excellent value and far better than most hotels stayed at for a long time. Had an invididual feel - did not feel like part of a chain. I had imagined this kind of hotel no longer existed - will DEFINITELY always stay there when visiting Stratford and would seek out Thistle hotels again.

Good Points: Large room, tea and coffee facilities, bath and shower rather than just a shower A hotel with character rather than a new soul-less building
Bad Points: car park for guests only, it's small enough without allowing non guests to use it
Further Comments: Good choice at breakfast Handy for the theatre, which is why we picked it. Wouldn't hesitate to use it again, or recommend it to othera

Bad Points: Toilets - particularly the gents - no paper towels, no soap and generally very unkempt.
Further Comments: I specified that I was only doing the booking for another couple - I gave the couples full name and even telephoned the hotel to confirm their names. When they arrived at the hotel none of their details had been noted - the booking was still showing my name.

Good Points: It was in a quiet part of the hotel overlooking the car park. The furniture was good quality and the furnishings were good too.
Bad Points: The main problem was running the bath water for 10 minutes plus before any hot water came through. It would also be good to have a shower that was adjustable or hose that can be hand held as I like to wash my hair everyday and I had to use a beaker and wash it in the sink!!Also running the taps for so long was wasteful in view of your save your towel signs!
Further Comments: The staff should be commended for their friendly and helpful manner, from the Receptionist, to the Polish waitresses/waiter and the housekeeping staff. Nothing was too much trouble. I would have liked the Reception staff to have told me before I checked into my room that it was possible to have an upgrade because I did find the room a bit small. The details were attached to the receipt I received but I had unpacked before I found out! We would love to come again - the hotel is very central and overall we had a good stay. The evening meal was excellent and beautifully presented. Please pass my comments to all the staff concerned. One comment - please change C.D. in restaurant as we had Frank Sinatra all night at dinner and again for breakfast!!

Good Points: Situation and character of the hotel, especially the room we were in. Very pleasant staff.
Bad Points: Heating needs a little attention
Further Comments: We were offered a lovely 4 poster room which made the stay; particularly as we were on a special rate. Other rooms in newer wing would probably not have had the same atmosphere. Restaurant food very good, shame only 3 tables occupied both nights. Staff attentive and friendly. Good to find a hotel in central Stratford with carpark. Would definately stay again.

Bad Points: Possibly have free parking for guests who stay two nights or more.
Further Comments: Hotel was in an excellent position for the town centre. Room was spacious and good value.Friendly and helpful staff.Food of good quality and well prepared.

Good Points: Very convenient location for all the attractions and the theatre
Bad Points: Would have preferred a serve yourself buffet breakfast but that's purely down to the fact that I am probably very greedy! A free car park would have been good but it was only ﾣ4 for the entire stay.
Further Comments: Very good hotel. It was great that check out was as late as Midday as this gave us time to do some more sightseeing in the morning without rushing to get packed up. All the staff were very friendly. We had a problem with the shower but it was fixed as soon as we reported it.
