Good Points: Nice and warm.
Bad Points: The television reception was poor. Also the one small bar of soap and no shampoo was frustrating.

Further Comments: Had a wonderful time, the town was lovely, hotel convenient we would definately stay there again. Can't understand why tourist board rating is so low, we really enjoyed our stay and the facilities seemed excellent.

Bad Points: Guests returning late in the evening seemed unaware that they were passing a bedroom as they came in - perhaps this could be pointed out to them.
Further Comments: The room was a good size offering very comfortable beds for my adult daughters and myself. Breakfast was served at a realistic time for people on a leisure break - offering a variety of beverages. Parking could have been a problem had a neighbouring establishment not been able to offer places. The walk into the town centre was short but very pleasant as it took us over the river and through a park housing Shakespeare's statue. Sperb location for visiting other attractions such as Warwick Castle.

Good Points: Croft House was very conveniently located to Stratford's central sites and very easy to find: right on the main road into town! The people were friendly, everything was ready for us, they were very helpful with directions.

Good Points: It is within easy walking distance of the Royal Shakespeare Theatre; very much cheaper than the larger hotels, with similar facilities
Bad Points: More staff needed around breakfast time; quite difficult to find anyone to pay
Further Comments: I would like to have known that parking was limited to 3 vehicles. The guest house is run by an ex-actor and nicely decorated with theatrical pictures and mementoes. However, the owner, pleasant as he is, was run off his feet and he does need more staff at busy periods.

Good Points: The convenience of being so close to the town.
Bad Points: The bedroom could have been cleaner (eg skirting boards were dirty,corners of the carpet hadn't been cleaned in weeks and the shower cubicle was dirty in the corners.
Further Comments: Very pleasant stay, accommodation OK. Bedroom could have been a bit cleaner and the lounge a bit more inviting, staff very friendly. Very conveniently situated to the town. Would use again.

Good Points: The room itself was quite large, and was better value for money than the rooms that our colleagues were staying in, in so called posher hotels, such as The Shakespeare.
Bad Points: The hotel just needs a good lick of paint. And a very long duster, my colleagues room upstairs had cobwebs, but my room was fine.
Further Comments: The gentleman who owned the hotel made us quite comfortable, and the facilities and the location of the guest house made our business/leisure weekend alot easier. Perhaps looking at the guest house, it may have been better to have the larger bedroom towards the back of the house, away from traffic and so on, but this was not a major complaint. An enjoyable stay.

Further Comments: The hotel lived up to expectation. Cheap, cheerful, tidt and clean. No complaints

Good Points: It was very close to the centre of Stratford and in easy walking distance
Bad Points: The room cleaning was obviously done very quickly each morning as there were many obvious areas that the vaccuum cleaner had missed for many a week. The owner could probably do with some assistance instead of doing everything for himself.
Further Comments: Stratford itself was as I expected it to be, a beautiful old world town

Further Comments: The hotel formed a useful, comfortable and welcoming base for touring the immediate area. Its proximity to the theatres was an added advantage. The manager was very friendly and always ready to engage in conversation, especially about the theatre world which we found most stimulating.

Good Points: convenient walking distance of all town facilities
Further Comments: House was very convenient for the town and its facilities so once car was parked we didn't need to use it again until we left. Ideal place for a weekend stay. Owner very helpful.
