Good Points: large room; wireless internet access
Bad Points: climate control--Our room was uncomfortably hot; hotel provided a fan for 2nd night, which helped. I talked to another customer who said her room was cold.
Further Comments: Overall--a pleasant experience. Large, clean room; adequate bathroom; responsive staff; wireless internet access in some areas, and supposedly in some rooms (not ours). Excellent location for the Royal Shakespeare Theatre and downtown Stratford. The one drawback was that although the temperature outside was cool--around 14-16 Celcius, I think--the room was uncomfortably hot and the opening window didn't help. The hotel provided a fan for our second night, which helped. I talked to another customer who said her room was cold and who wanted the heat turned up.

Good Points: Excellent value for money.
Bad Points: The wine list leaves room for improvement
Further Comments: Hotel reception was very good, and the staff were very attentive. Breakfast was reasonable, whilst evening dinner was very good. There was ample parking, and it is ideally situated for a short visit to the town.

Good Points: clean and pleasant.
Bad Points: The stair carpet was threadbare in a few places, and a lit would have helpful.
Further Comments: The Hotel was pleasant easy to get to and the staff were polite. The breakfast room was well set out and staff attentive. It would have been helpful to know that there was no lift as I suffer with oseoarthritis in my knees.

Good Points: Convenient location for the Royal Shakespeare Theatre
Bad Points: Allocating non-smoking rooms as a matter of course, ensuring all rooms have air-conditioniong as standard, ensuring the hot water is hot at all times
Further Comments: The room was remarkably hot even with the window open -- no air-conditioning. We were allocated a smoking room which Reception said they could not change -- we were told we should have specified non-smoking when we booked. Bedclothes consisted of sheets and blankets rather than a duvet. Hot water was not hot when we wanted it on arrival nor for a morning shower. Only other comment relates to breakfast -- toast was brought well before hot course and so was cold by the time we wanted it, mushrooms were clearly from a tin rather than fresh, the fried egg was not freshly cooked and the crispy bacon was not crispy. Sausages were good though!
