Good Points: smoking room, although i dont smoke my wife does.
Bad Points: rooms are quite small, but you dont stay in them except to sleep.
Further Comments: friendly staff, nothing was to much trouble, if they could serve it they did. would be staying again on the 15th but the hotel is fully booked.

Good Points: we were going to a concert at the nem arena and it was just a short walk away and we could park our car safely on site
Bad Points: bathroom a wee bit small but perfectly adequate

Good Points: it was convenient for the event I was attending
Bad Points: the room was very small and run down
Further Comments: As we only stayed one night it was bearable, the room was extreemly small for 2 adults and a small child let alone the 3 adults it is supposed to accomidate. The Bunk bed was hanging off the wall and the mattresses were so thin you may as well have been sleeping on the hardboard the beds were made from. The top floor had a strong smell of tobacco.

Good Points: I was pleased where it was located and it was nice and clean. I was glad there was a car park.
Bad Points: The room was quite small and the hotel was quite old fashioned compared to others in the same price range. They also over did it on the air freshners in the hotel!
Further Comments: The staff were professional and polite and it was ideal for a short visit. It is also close to manchester town centre.

Good Points: I was pleased where it was located and it was nice and clean. I was glad there was a car park.
Bad Points: The room was quite small and the hotel was quite old fashioned compared to others in the same price range. They also over did it on the air freshners in the hotel!

Good Points: Very near to the city centre. Cheap and acceptable. Good breakfast
Bad Points: No lift and we were om 2nd floor, and had to carry luggage up the stairs. Very hard bed and a strange heavy duvet.

Bad Points: Bathroom needs updating, bed were hard and lack of pillows, but to visit for a night it was fine.
Further Comments: Very good location, feel hotel could have better decor in rooms and bathrooms look dirty. Beds are also very hard, but Ideal for an overnight stay. Any longer I would look else were

Good Points: its proximity to town.
Bad Points: the room, the cost (over priced) the food was the worst i have ever eaten, the drinks were warm and the staff were not very helpful at all.
Further Comments: this is a very very poor hotel. it is more of a hostel then a hotel, but the cost is more like that of a 3-4* hotel. the location is good, very close to the attractions etc, but this is the ONLY redeeming feature. the staff were nice enough but very slow and didnt seem overly bothered with helping. the food was so bad (and over priced) that i can still make my self feel sick by thinking about it. the drinks were warm, and flat. all in all this is not somewhere i will recommend, or ever stay in again.

Good Points: Absolutely nothing!
Bad Points: It was awful.
Further Comments: I was guaranteed an early check-in at 12.00. I arrived at 1.00 - room not ready. Hotel advertised itself as 5 minutes walk to MEN Arena which is one of the main reasons I booked it as I am partially disabled, we followed the receptionists directions and it took at least 20 mins - a thoroughbred racehorse couldn't have done that distance in 5 mins!!! Room was poor value compared to Travelodge rooms. Staff couldn't have cared less whether we were staying there or not and were totally unhelpful. I would NEVER stay there again - I'd rather sleep on the streets of Manchester!

Bad Points: Poor shower, too small. States sattelite TV but very limited channels. Not great system for locking rooms and having to hand keys in over reception when leaving hotel in evening, didn't feel as though my room was secure in doing this.
