Good Points: Pleasant staff.
Bad Points: Room 105 - Absolutely no view from window except a noisy vent, which kept us awake part of the night and early morning.
Further Comments: As above. If had been staying longer, would have requested a change of room.

Good Points: Hotel Central to all town amenities, all public areas of Hotel comfortable and clean
Bad Points: Not so much disliked rather inconvenient was the fact that there was no lift, or that not all rooms had a bath
Further Comments: Exactly where Hotel car park was, as it turned out I had to park in a multy story and because of my disability had to take a taxi

Good Points: Good, clean room. Food excellent and good choice of menu.
Further Comments: The hotel has no lift and the staircase is quite steep - difficult for less able bodied persons.

Bad Points: Shower didn't work properly, it burned/froze me alternatively. The heating unit was behind my wall and kept me awake most of the night the TV was old and didn't work properly
Further Comments: I would recommend this hotel for an inexpensive midweek stay of necessity. However, all the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful and the breakfast was good!

Good Points: The cleanliness of the room - and whole hotel - and the helpfulness and friendliness of all the staff
Further Comments: There was only a small car park, which I was told about beforehand, and it was useful to know that there was a public car park opposite which was free overnight, which I only had to use once. I could pay for two hours during the previous evening which clocked up until 10am the following morning allowing me to not have to return to the car until after breakfast. I had booked a single room - with a very good single rate, but actually had a double room, which meant I was not cramped for space. The staff were very helpful in carrying my suitcase up and down stairs as there was no lift - perhaps something that needs to be emphasised. A very pleasant stay - I would certainly return and recommend it to others.

Good Points: The hotel was very centrally located but managed to be very quiet.
Bad Points: The lack of a lift as the stairs were difficult to manage with a lap top case and a suitcase.
Further Comments: The room was generally okay but the small television was difficult to see and as a single woman traveller who spent most of the evening in the room access to Sky or similar would have been appreciated. The bathroom although clean let down the room, the shower was very underpowered and the toilet made a terrible noise when flushed.

Bad Points: Very steep stairs to 2nd floor. No Lift
Further Comments: Hotel is well situated for City Centre with adequate Car Parking a few yards frem the Hotel. The staff are friendly and efficient. The Room was spacious & comfortable with a good sized bathroom. The Room, (and the Hotel Overall ) was in good decorative order and apppeared well maintained. The only drewback is the lack of a lift to the 2nd floor bedrooms. JA

Further Comments: The room, although samll, was clean tidy and functional. Hotel facilities were more than adequate and the breakfast was very good

Good Points: The staff were helpful and friendly and the reception area was pleasant
Bad Points: The shower didn't work very well
Further Comments: Whilst the reception area of the hotel was clean and welcoming, the room was a little shabby. Also, the shower pressure was very low and the plumbing was generally very nosiy.

Further Comments: Very good relaxed staff, good breakfast plenty of chioce, exactly what I was looking for. A good venu for my friends to visit me. On site parking esential in a city.

Further Comments: The choice of facilities for eating, drinking and relaxing is very good, especially for a lone traveller. The rooms are of a decent size and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Good Points: quiet at the back good choice
Bad Points: no lifts its alright for able bodied people still was not that hard to get up to our room
Further Comments: very good overall, staff pleasant,breakfast good fast and efficient reception area spotless and staff very helpful,bar area clean, good food, a good selection of beverages will be back and will pass onto my friends yours john carr ps in an excellent location

Good Points: Room and bathroom tidy and clean.
Bad Points: Room noisy and very hot. Shower only just worked
Further Comments: Staff most friendly and helpful. As a town centre hotel it was bound to be a bit noisy, but this was too much ! It was difficult to cool the room down.

Good Points: Clean, Spacious bathroom, plenty of hot water.
Bad Points: I did not find the bed very comfortable and the room was somwhat airless.
Further Comments: The staff were freindly and helpful. the hotel was clean and conveniant for the city centre. While the food was very good the evening menu was restrictive for those on a longer stay than three nights. Car parking is a problem.
