Good Points: Iloved all the extra touches. Books and toys in the childrens rooms. Games and Xbox in downstairs lounge. We were offered free loan of items for the beach windbreaks body boards etc. Good position for beach and really friendly owners who took the time to find out everybodys name and used them.
Bad Points: The only thing we would have any different was the option of an early evening family meal (unless I misunderstood how this worked)
Further Comments: Fantastic. Richard and Alison have obviously thought really hard about the little details and nothing was too much trouble. It was like staying with family. Hotel was very clean, and extra touches were great.

Good Points: the bed was very comfortable. breakfast was very good.
Bad Points: the shower cubicle was very small
Further Comments: there were two beaches within walking distance of the hotel. the hotel also offered the opportunity to have a massage or use the hot tub in the secluded garden. we took advantage and booked a massage which was wonderful and highly recommended! the hosts were friendly and welcoming and we would definitely return to this hotel in future.

Good Points: A large room with lots of storage space that was bright and airy with sea views and a lovely large fully fitted bathroom.
Bad Points: Nothing.
Further Comments: A most welcoming arrival. Richard and Alison were in the front garden, enjoying the late afternoon sunshine, chatting to guests as we arrived. Richard was most friendly, helping us with our luggage as he made us familiar with the hotel and it's facilities. Our meals in the hotel were more than excellent, supported by friendly and efficient service. We know where we'll be staying next time we visit Bude! Jeff & Jenny.

Good Points: It was clean and tidy in a quite area of Bude with car parking on site or in the road. 10 minute walk from town centre.
Bad Points: The Restaurant was closed in the evenings
Further Comments: A week after booking this Hotel I received an E-Mail from the owners that they would be away at the time of our visit and 'The Restaurant'would be closed in the evenings, but Simon would be on site to serve our Breakfast and look after our needs.Breakfast was served (with a laugh) and the rooms serviced and cleaned while owners were away.A pity about the Restaurant being closed as heard from other guests it was very good.

Further Comments: Maybe this review was influenced by the range of cricket and sporting memorabilia on display? TNot a bad thing for any cricket enthusiast. he host's obvious expertise in this field, and his willingness to share intelligent conversation on a range of subjects. All in all, a pleasant and relaxing stay. We shall return.
