||
| Good Points: Pleasant surroundings | |||
| Bad Points: Housekeeping - one of the essentisl lights in my room did not work. Whilst a nice hotel, in common with country house style hotels, it was cold (albeit it was winter). The heating seemed to come on late in the afternoon and late in the morning. Also the three course TDH menu at οΎ£22 is expensive though enjoyable. | |||
| Further Comments: A lovely setting and property which is well decorated and maintained. Rooms a little on the cool side! | |||

||
| Good Points: Room was clean and tidy, small but cosy, we had a 4 poster bed dated 1613(!) very comfortable, all bathroom facilities clean and in good order | |||
| Bad Points: Any niggles were so minor as to be simply nit-picking to mention. See review below | |||
| Further Comments: The staff were friendly and extremely helpful, we were greeted immediately on arrival even though there was a wedding party in full swing when we got there! The food was very good, both food and plates nice and hot, excellent value 4 course menu with good choice, the only niggle I would have is that we like to take time over evening meal, and courses were served very quickly, but it seems rather niggardly to complain on that score, the service was excellent, and so was the full English Breakfast, lovely food served efficiently. The only slight disappointment we had was that the Bar closed at 11pm, and owing to hotel being quite small, if you want a quiet romantic weekend for 2 | |||

||
| Good Points: A charming old individual property with personal service from the staff. Food excellent. | |||
| Bad Points: Cannot think of anything for this price range hotel. | |||
| Further Comments: Stands in its own ground some two to three miles from Wrexham. Ideal venue for weekend breaks. Old quirky building with reputedly to have two ghosts and lots of creaky floors but this adds to its charm. | |||

| Good Points: Beautiful clean and bright rooms Single rooms have a slightly larger 'single' bed Excellent food Helpful, accommodating staff | |||
| Bad Points: The front of the hotel certainly doesn't do it justice! | |||
| Further Comments: The Llywn Onn is a beautiful hotel, retaining all it's traditional and original features. The surroundings are delightful and the views breathtaking, it's hard to believe you're only a minute or two from the hustle and bustle of town. The rooms are light and airy, beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. The hotel staff were most accommodating and a delight to speak to, ever helpful with our numerous requests! I'd recommend the hotel to anyone, good value for money and a beautifully clean environment. | |||
