| Bad Points: The rooms are adequate, bed linen scrupulous but the corridors are grim. |
| Further Comments: I've stayed there numerous times and this time I had a room that was totally different in set-out to the others I've had. Apparently there is a full corridor of this style rooms and I found it more comfortable than the usual rooms and that includes the bridal suite (no, I wasn't on honeymoon!) I'd tell you the room numbers but I'm worried you'll all get them first!
The area surrounding the hotel is full of life, eateries, takeaways, a whole range of shops and local taxi drivers all seem to know it. If you get one who's puzzled tell them it's the old Wendover and that usuallly does the trick. |

| Further Comments: Reception staff were very helpful and directions to the Hotel were good. However as stated above we did not appreciate the early morning wake up. |

clean, comfortable, quiet. |
| Further Comments: 1st floor accommodation can be noisy if staying over a weekend. Restuarant quite good though limited in choice. Good local bus & tram service into manchester & local bus service to John Lennon airport. |

| Good Points:
We found the accommodation to be very adequate and value for money. On our next trip to Manchester we'll make use of there services again. We'd also book into one of the groups hotels in Liverpool |

There wasn't much wrong, but the TV in room 104 was not working properly. |
| Further Comments: Generally we had a very good stay in Monton House. |
