| Further Comments: The only fault was the evening meal which took an hour to be served,the Scampi,chips and peas appeared to be from frozen and the peas were so hard that I did not eat them this was the only drawback to our stay. |

Nothing; the accomodation was excellent - only one instance of unclear credit card authorisation at check-in. see below |
| Further Comments: The fact that our credit cards were blocked for total amount of rooms where we had specifically explained to check-in receptionist that each person was going to pay separately, and ending up in some of our group unable to use their credit cards elsewhere. |

Not much equipment in the gym, but OK. Some road noise. |
| Further Comments: I have stayed here before and would do so again. The hotel is 5 mins drive from St Albans station (so about a 20+ mins walk). Staff helpful and friendly, the food in the hotel is very tasty and reasonably priced. The Guinness Bangers 'n' Bubble are just fantastic!
Being on the main London Rd there is some road noise, with a few police sirens audible in the night. |

| Further Comments: Easy to locate hotel on main road into St Albans. Staff very helpful and accommodating, offering me interconnecting rooms as I had booked 2 rooms for myself and 4 children. The rooms were very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The windows did not open, but the guest controlled air conditioning was efficient. There were various energy saving schemes in evidence.
The breakfast was buffet style and excellent.
Overall very good value, and an unexpectedly enjoyable stay. |
