Good Points: Not an awful lot
Bad Points: Paying a little more attention to individual guests - we were told it would not be possible to have dinner until after 8 p.m. because there was a coach party staying there - we went out and found somewhere else. We deliberately picked Best Western because we wanted an evening meal and an early night. We ended up driving to Selby to find a decent retaurant and then had to ask a policewoman where we could find one. It would have been helpful if we had received prior notice that the restaurant was fully booked because we could have stayed elsewhere for less money.
Further Comments: I would liked to have been made aware that the hotel was in a comparatively isolated spot. I would also have liked to have been made aware that the view from our bedroom window (at the rear of the hotel) ovelooked a piece of waste ground. Having stayed at Best Western Hotels before, both in this country and abroad, I would state quite emphatically that this is the worst one in which I have stayed and it will be highly unlikely that I will use Best Western again.

Further Comments: This was the first time I had stayed at this hotel and what impressed me was that all the staff seemed genuinely keen to be friendly and helpful

Bad Points: Evening menu was too expensive and for our taste, excellent breakfast.

Bad Points: Better in-room entertainment, Mini-Bar, TV in Lounge
Further Comments: Quite remote, took 2 hours to get into York, would have prferred to have known and would have got train.

Good Points: Good clean, quiet, very friendly, value for money
Bad Points: could extend the room service/bar menu a little
Further Comments: Great hotel for the money, it is clean and the staff are really, really friendly and extremely helpful. We had our 6yr old with us and they were great with him. The hotel was a little hard to find at first but when we got there it was great and really quiet. The family room was plenty big enough and had everything you needed.

Good Points: THE ROOM WAS BRIGHT AND CLEAN. THERE WAS PLENTY OF SPACE FOR PERSONAL ITEMS AND CLOTHES. WE FOUND THE PROVISION OF TEA & COFFEE VERY WELCOME AFTER A TEDIOUS JOURNEY. THE STAFF WERE VERY HELPFUL AND THE HOTEL HAD A HAPPY FEEL ABOUT IT. I WOULD DEFINITELY STAY THERE AGAIN AND RECOMMEND THE HOTEL TO FRIENDS AND COLLEAGUES.
Bad Points: CHANGE THE LEOPARD SKIN COVERS ON THE LOUNGE CHAIRS.
Further Comments: I THINK THE INFORMATION PROVIDED PRIOR TO BOOKING WAS ADEQUATE FOR OUR ONE NIGHT STAY. HAVING LOOKED AT THE WEB SITE I THINK YOU PROVIDE SUFFICIENT INFORMATION FOR PEOPLE TO MAKE AN INFORMED CHOICE WHEN CHOOSING A LOCATION FOR LEISURE OR BUSINESS STAYS.

Good Points: Comfortable and clean.
Further Comments: I would recommend this hotel as the staff were first class in their approach, nothing was a problem to them and they went out of their way to assist us. The hotel is well placed, modern and well looked after.

Good Points: Hotel was clean, management and staff were excellent throughout
Bad Points: top marks everytime
Further Comments: Road works caused some inconvieiance in finding hotel but I am sure when road is opened up this will not be a problem. Altogether a warm and friendly environment professionally operated.

Bad Points: The air conditioning was noisy and difficult to control the temperature
Further Comments: The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room and beds were comfortable and there was a good choice of menu at breakfast, which was reasonably priced. The hotel was difficult to find among the the major roadworks when approached from the A1.

Good Points: It was clean, and the staff were very efficient and friendly and made us feel very welcome, the checkin process was the quickest we had ever experienced! The food was fabulous and we were well looked after!
Bad Points: It was very difficult to find you, maybe you need some more signs along the roads.
