Good Points: relaxing and away from the hussle and bussel. Pure luxuary.
Bad Points: no swimming pool or sauna etc. Signposts not easy to see.
Further Comments: Relaxing friendly and spacious accomodation beautiful setting, would go back again.

Good Points: secluded and quiet (no noisy roads), attendant and friendly staff, beautiful gardens, accomodation full of charm and character
Bad Points: inadequate and hard to regulate shower, noisy pipes in night (possibly from heating system)
Further Comments: Overall an excellent place to stay if you are not bothered about being in the centre of things as there is nothing else within walking distance (didn't bother us at all). Has an 'away from it all' feeling although many 'touristy' places are within 10 to 15 minutes drive from this accomodation. We liked the quiet location and beautiful surroundings. the showers need renewing (staff said that was the next thing on the refurbishment program!) but despite this we had an enjoyable stay with friendly staff and any complaints are only very minor compaired to all the positives. we'd definetly stay here again.

Good Points: Public rooms were well decorated and pleasant, very nice grounds.
Bad Points: Room was in need of refurbishment, curtains falling apart and shower not working although at chack out it was obvious that the hotel were aware of this problem.
Further Comments: Hotel was geared to cater for weddings, the staff were generally pleasant but appeared to be temporary, not too well trained. Good breakfast.

Good Points: Enjoyed the atmosphere of this lovely old hotel
Further Comments: Accomodation was superb. Location and gardens fantastic. The rooms were comfortable and very large. The only thing that let this hotel down was the standard of its restaurant. The service was good but the food was uninspiring and not of the quality you would expect. This aside, we enjoyed our stay and would reccomend the accomodation.

Further Comments: We liked the hotel , particularly as the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and would return there.The refurbishment that has already been carried out was very good However the shower was appalling, there was a broken window in our room, although this was repaired the next day. We think they should invest in a decent sound system for the dining room and a large fridge for wine.

Good Points: Spacious room, attractively furnished, comfortable beds, good bathroom. Quiet - well soundproofed. well supplied with tea & coffee.
Bad Points: My mother found the blankets less good than a duvet
Further Comments: The hotel was easy to find, despite being in a secluded place. Staff were friendly and unstuffy. The grounds are lovely and will be even more accessible when the new building area has been landscaped. Food was very good, with a varied, flexible menu. We were glad to find a cupboard full of board games, including Scrabble! Breakfast was excellent

Good Points: Exceptional location, the grounds of which contain an incredible variety of trees and birds. Very peaceful, quiet and relaxing.
Bad Points: If this hotel had had duvets instead of sheets and blankets, it would have been absolutely perfect.
Further Comments: The food was excellent and very good value for money, as was the wine. The bar and restaurant areas were very cosy and comfortable and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, though at times the hotel did seem understaffed. The bedroom was unusually large and very well appointed with big windows (that open) to enable one to enjoy the lovely sites and sounds of the exceptional surroundings.

Further Comments: Staff were lovely and made us feel very welcome, we had stayed at other Bed and Breakfast accommodation that week and were disappointed with one of them but this Hotel made up for it. We will be looking at other offers and hope to visit again.

Further Comments: Comfortable place to get away from everything and able to switch off. We plan to spend Xmas here and am sure the service will be excellent.This is not a place to come if you like the nightlife or razzamatazz. It is a quiet retreat to let peace and tranquillity to wash over you

Further Comments: that there was renovations going on. Do not like being in a hotel which has work going on. the reason we chose your hotel was that I have always told my son that the experience is more important the just a place to rest your limbs.I have always stayed in some of the best hotels which were known for their uniniqueness.So the idea of staying in your place which was once a Manor house was attractive.

Good Points: Hotel was in a peaceful and quite location and had good views from the room. Also the food was excellent.
Bad Points: Maybe an outside veranda or a conservatory. Just for the rainy days. Otherwise nothing comes to mind.
Further Comments: Very good. Beautiful hotel and looking forward to another visit in the future.
