Good Points: Its clean and quiet. Basic but gret for if you are staying for a conference or nearby for a wedding etc.
Bad Points: The staff are really unprofessional and too personal.
Further Comments: This hotel is a great hotel when visiting the nearby area for whatever reason. You can get great rates for it for a one night stay. The room itself was pleasant in a standard formulaic kind of way - comfy, very clean, eerything provided. Not stylish, just bland and corporate, but you don't go to ths hotel for the experience of the hotel itself! The staff are what lets it down. The 3 receptionists having a conversation about their night out the weekend before, greeting other members of staff walking into reception before the guests standing at the desk and that kind of thing.

Good Points: the rom was an adequate size and clean
Bad Points: the bathroom had a poor finish around the bath and shower which made it difficult to clean, therefore the bathroom was grimey in places.
Further Comments: this is an off the motorway hotel, therefore i didnt have many expectations, but for the price i feel it should be clean and confortable with plenty of facilities. i think it probably lived up to my limited expectations

Good Points: Very comfortable hotel, like the surroundings. Have stayed at this hotel 4 times now.
Further Comments: Have stayed 4 times in this particular hotel, although this time extremely disappointed in breakfast and felt we had to complain. No staff in breakfast room, no glasses for juice, and had to go to reception for teaspoons. When finally got to eat breakfast, food was cold and no bread left for toast. Ended up leaving hungry which spoilt the whole experience. Did speak to lady on reception who noted coments and took our number, call received the next day saying breakfast price had been re-imbursed. Will still think twice about booking again though as breakfast is one of the most important features of a break away to myself.

Good Points: Very clean with all the required facilities and good value for money
Bad Points: We had some issues, I'm afraid with our waiter service at dinner, Rather than show us to our table (we had booked earlier)we were told to sit over there and when the wine was brought to us we were asked do you want me to open it and pour it for you? Not a question you expect!!! By contrast his two female colleagues were very, very helpful.
Further Comments: With the exception of our Dinner experience, our stay was on the whole a pleasant one. We would certainly use the hotel again on future trips to the Midlands but I think we would go into Daventry for our evening meal unless the service has improved. I hasten to add though that the food was excellent.

Good Points: For the price we paid it was of an amzing standard! The hotel was lovely and perfectly situated for our needs.
Further Comments: The staff at the hotel were brilliant, helpful but not intrusive. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the rooms and overall hotel. I knew marriot were an ok chain of hotels but for ￂﾣ20 each I thought the rooms would be a tad basic. Not at all, Bed - lovely.Sofa - nice bonus.hair dryer trouser press all things that made it a great place to stay!

Further Comments: The hotel was in a good location, clean, quiet and very well equipped for the price. We would certainly stay again.

Good Points: The room was beautiful, the beds wonderfully comfy. The receptionist was very accommodating (even though we'd arrived several hours before normal check-in time).
Bad Points: For our second night we weren't left any tea or milk (though we got coffee). Things tended to run out at breakfast if you were at the tail end of the (very generous) time span.
Further Comments: This hotel is gorgeous and we'll be back.

Further Comments: The overall stay was good - the room and the hotel was nice and comfortable for the price we paid - it was close to where we wanted to go and close to Northampton where we went out for tea and drinks. Only problem was our lock on our room door not working making me feel uneasy about leaving anything there and also been told by reception that they would fix it and then it not happening.
