Good Points: its situation
Bad Points: the room was poorly decorated with clear signs of damp on the ceiling. the furniture was very old and need of updating and the bathroom was in such a poor condition i chose not to use the bath/shower.
Further Comments: the hotel was in an excellent situation close to the shops. the staff were polite and helpful ordering us a taxi on request. the hotel room was f poor quality, considering the price for room only i expected much better.

Good Points: The Bar
Bad Points: I felt that the bedroom could do with decorating and the bathroom with updating.
Further Comments: I felt that the room was adequate for my one night stay, i felt it was a little over priced in regards to quality of the roome and the bathroom needs a refit. The roomks were clean and tidy but one night was enough.

Bad Points: Decor looked tired, especially the bathroom. The room was gloomy Wardrobe was in a state of dissrepair
Further Comments: The staff, service and quality of food was all of a high standard but the actual room was dissapointing. Most of the funiture was reasonable

Good Points: Friendly staff.
Bad Points: I expected a better standard of room for the money especially in comparison to similar experiences elsewhere.
Further Comments: I was a bit disappointed at the standard of the room. I had always assumed that Ramada Jarvis Hotels were at the upper end of the market and was, as such expecting a better quality room. I was willing to pay a bit more than I would normally hope to pay for accomodation in anticipation of a standard above the norm. What we actually found was a room of a quality and size that we could have had for less. I had hoped that it would be more special and had hoped the weekend to be more of a treat. Don't get me wrong, it was far from terrible. It simply did not live up to my expectations and has put me off choosing a Ramada Jarvis Hotel in the future as I must assume that the Solihull Hotel is indicative of the level to be expected elsewhere. Thank you for your time. Alex
