Good Points: Clean and well presented. good facilities of leisure club and food excellent in restaurant. Staff very attentive and willing to help.
Bad Points: No shower cap in room
Further Comments: Was impressed with all the hotel facilities and would recommend to others. Would use again if I was in the area

Further Comments: the one thing that disappointed me was every other time we have stopped there we had remote control beds, which are no longer in operation, and this was the main reason why we booked the room

Good Points: The room was excellent, well worth the extra money for a premium double. The evening meal was also very good.
Bad Points: I had pre-booked a Preimum double rather than a standard, but were given the keys to a standard. I called reception who said they would review it and then send someone up to show us to a premium room. This was not swift, so we were left in the wrong room in limbo, not a great start to the stay!
Further Comments: Other than the mix up with the rooms on arrival

Good Points: Fantastic room with two electrically operated double beds, 42 inch plasma TV, and french windows to outside
Bad Points: Only terestrial TV and Sky news available. Would have liked more choice
Further Comments: We went to this hoetel for a valentines package on 11th Feb. We had a fabulous room with two electrically operated double beds, a 42 inch plasma screen TV and a great bathroom with a roomy bath. The food in the restaurant was marvellous and we both had a great time. We would definately recommend this hotel, and will stay again.

Good Points: Teh room was excellent. The bar was OK.
Bad Points: Food no better than average, car parking poor, some staff not very good
Further Comments: As this was a special valentine's offer I expected the restaurant to have a lot more ambience. Instead it was more like a service station. However, the room was fantastic.

Good Points: Large rooms, bright and well maintained with excellent decor. This was a similar standard throughout the hotel.
Bad Points: Reception staff at check in were not over friendly.
Further Comments: Excellent hotel. I will stay again. I would like to arrive earlier to sample the restaurant.

Good Points: The staff were very friendly
Further Comments: The room I stayed in was tiny, had no mini bar and was rather dimly lit. The wireless router didn't work properly so I wasn't able to get an internet connection.

Good Points: The building and grounds are stunning. The place has a great christmas feel and has been well decorated for the festive season. Of the three rooms that we booked (art and Dec rooms) our individual room was much smaller that our colleauges though it was still very nice. The electric beds were wonderful.
Bad Points: There appeared to be a lack of communication. We booked three rooms dinner bed and breakfast. When we checked in we reserved a table for 6 @ 9pm. When we went to the resturant they had no record of it but fortunatley quickly located a table for us. After our meal the waitress then persisted to get us to sign to pay for our meal even though we were on a dinner B&B deal. ( we did not order wine or anything from the a la' carte menu). Even after speaking to the resturant manager to sort it out we still had a large fee addedd to our bill. Whilst this was soon resitifed the following morning with the reception staff it was most inconvenient and was a blataint lack of good communication by the staff. We consumed rather a great deal of drinks during our stay and the amount which we had to return due to dirty glasses was terrible(dried lemon pip, lipstick and one had clearly had baileys in it prior to us). We evern saw one bar man putting the tops on some budweiser bottles after opening them by mistake (surely this is not right especially with the prices that the drinks are charged at?).
Further Comments: We had a great time with the exception of the above matters. The hotel was lovely. The majority staff were very polite and friendly. The place was clean and well maintained. We were not aware that there would be a disco on the night which it would have been nice to have known as it would have been more to look forward to. I am sure we will be back again but not for a few years.

Good Points: Nice location and attentive staff.
Bad Points: Ensuring that everything works in the room and suplies are stocked up, such as coffee. Shower was not at all powerful and kept going very hot then really cold.
Further Comments: Had a general good time. Did not expect to see so many children in the hotel. Staff were very helpful. Food was of a good standard. We were not informed until we arrived that the hotel had a 'Christmas Buffet & Disco' for the evening - we probably would not of booked this hotel had we known in advance. Stayed in a deluxe room but thought was very small. Adjustable bed did not work, there was no soft drinks in the mini bar and no coffee. Had to ask a couple of times for the coffee. Did not have time to use the leisure facilities but looked nice.

Further Comments: I was next to a fire door at the beginninng of a long corridor. This kept slamming shut everytime someone walked through it. Which kept me awake for two nights. This happened at all hours.

Good Points: Modern well appointed room with good facilities
Bad Points: We had a meal in the restaurant on Saturday night which was very disappointing. The room was freezing due to inappropriate air-conditioning; we sent soup back because it was cold and the breaded pork was tough and inedible. The waiters tried very hard to overcome these difficulties and were extremely courteous and helpful, but our evening was spoiled as the dining experience was so uncomfortable

Good Points: It was not worth ᆪ110 per night as very poor in comparison to the remainder of our party. We were attending a function at the hotel but seemed to be put into a sub-standard room to the remainder of our party who paid the same price.
Bad Points: Up-grade all their rooms or charge slightly less for the rooms awaiting refurbishment.
Further Comments: The overall hotel was good but I was very disappointed with the room allocation. It was small and dark and in comparison to the remainder of our party's room allocation it was poor. I was disappointed as for the same price the remainder of our party were in much larger superior quality rooms with plasma screens etc so hence the disappointment with our room. . I would recommend this hotel if you were allocated the larger rooms with plasma screen etc as I think ᆪ110 for the room we were allocated was excessive.

Good Points: Real milk in the fridge. Tagging for left luggage. Patient staff when I kept locking myself out! Superduper tv!
Bad Points: Mobile phone reception (probably out of your control)

Good Points: The rural location of the hotel and the quality of the food on offer (both breakfast and dinner)
Bad Points: Only minor niggle is that the reception staff were not aware of the full details of the break package we had booked. The receptionist did investigate and resolved the query to our satisfaction within minutes.
Further Comments: A comfortable room, excellent food and service. No complaints at all. The package we booked

Good Points: excellent room facilities and availability of broadband internet. The process of getting online is made to seem easy. in practice I had to change settings over the telephone with the helpline which i fear may now make it difficult to get online via my home broadband connection.
Bad Points: provision of coffee and toast needs to be better organised at breakfast and the scrambled egg tasted artificial/reconstituted, not fresh eggs.
Further Comments: Reception staff very helpful particularly when my room was not ready for occupation at 2pm as promised. The young lad with the motorcycle helmet was good enthusiastic and should be given every encouragement. Coffee tasted good, evening meals tasty and of suitable proportions, good service in the evenings.

Good Points: The room was clean and very modern.
Bad Points: The bar and restaurant service was poor.
Further Comments: I booked a premium room but didn't feel it was worth the extra money. The complimentary mini bar only contained two small bottles of water and a bar of chocolate. The size of the room and bathroom was no better than other less expensive hotels. The bar and restaurant service was poor - we waited more than half an hour for our order to be taken and had to go into the restaurant and ask even though they weren't particularly busy. In the morning, we missed breakfast but later went down for coffee but again the service was poor. I had chosen this hotel because I wanted a special night away but didn't feel it was worth the money.

Good Points: the bathroom was very nice
Bad Points: the decor in the rooms was very dark and dreary could do with brightening up
Further Comments: the hotel was ideal for business meetings and conference meetings, but as a leisure break we found it not to our needs.

Good Points: well decorated and modern , good quality furnishings and fittings. excellent gym facilities reception staff and resteraunt staff very polite and helpful.
Bad Points: the hot water was very very hot , scolding infact! needed more complimentary tea in the room , apart from that hotel stay was excellent .

Good Points: The hotel was friendly and welcoming and the staff were very pleasant and helpful.
Bad Points: We felt the rooms would benefit from airconditioning as it was extremely hot even with the electric fan and this made sleeping difficult.
Further Comments: The Hotel is in a good location with excellent bar and restaurant facilities. It has good access to Warwick and Stoneleigh Park and is well signposted. The area surrounding the hotel is pleasant and there's even a walk down to the river from the rear carpark. The breakfast was very good with a hot and cold buffet. There was a little noise from aircraft and as mentioned above the rooms would benefit from some airconditioning.
