Good Points: Room clean and comfortable. Staff attentive and helpful.
Further Comments: It was only a one-night midweek stay but I will certainly stop there again when in the area. A solid, comfortable hotel; no frills or pretensions, you are just made to feel at home. The room was excellent and the staff and food very good.

Further Comments: Overall service very good and we had two dinners in the restaurant which were excellent as also was the included breakfast each day.

Bad Points: small bed:room could have taken a larger one without serious problems
Further Comments: Impressed by the recption and professionalism of the staff onduty. Slightly less helpful when we sought to find out about a local art gallery. Had to go into a supermarket a few doors away to try to find its location. Fair breakfast, with cheery maitre d'hote (perhaps too cheery!). Dripping tap in bathroom and shower did not quite function properly. But a good brief stay in a superb location. Not cheap by some standards (ie outside of Britain) but O.K.

Good Points: we liked the friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere of the hotel however maintaining an overal professional approach. The evening meal was very good and the service was excellent. The cost of the stay was competitive.
Bad Points: We disliked nothing but would recommend that the reception/lounge area could be improved by refreshing it a little.
Further Comments: Again nothing really as the information displayed on your website was adequate and the booking service was easily executed. The Noel Arms is a central location in an excellent village. We would highly recommend it in future.

Further Comments: THE HOTEL WAS VERY OLD AND IN KEEPING WITH THE AREA. THE EXTENSIONS TO THE ORIGINAL HOTEL WERE SYMPATHETIC .I FELT THE MENU OF THE HOTEL COULD OF BEEN A BIT MORE VARIED, HOWEVER OVERALL THE STAFF AND ACCOMODATION ,IN MY OPINION, WERE GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY.

Further Comments: The hotel was well located in the centre of the town, with its own fairly lareg private car park and the general impression as you entered was a good one. Old world, cosy. The room was a bit smaller than we'd expected for the price but otherwise OK. The room was well furnished, the bed was very comfortable. There needed to be another bedside light and cabinet. The other room facilities were good. It was a cold day, but the heating was really good. The shower while very effective needed attention because the shower head had a tendency to move around. The staff were excellent. We did not eat at the hotel, but used the very attractive bar and also had breakfast. This was excellent, with a very wide choice and good quality. On the morning of our stay the service was a little slow, and we noticed other clients who seemed not to be getting what they wanted. It looked as if this may have been the first day for one of the waiters! Overall the hotel met our requirement of being cosy, traditional and beautifully situated.
