Good Points: Just about everything.
Further Comments: Mount Sorrel Hotel, Barry, is handily placed for Cardiff airport and also within five minutes of the rail station and therefore Cardiff City centre. (Think rugby and Millenium Stadium)!Very helpful and courteous staff and excellent leisure facilities. Highly recommended.

Good Points: Very helpful friendly staff who were very accommodating to our needs
Further Comments: Our party were visiting to attend a rugby international in Cardiff. It was good value for money the staff were more than helpful and the breakfast was hot and fresh. We have already rebooked to stay in March with another party

Good Points: Excellent fitness facilities. Large room, good selection of TV Channels, lovely food, polite and friendly staff.
Further Comments: A weekend break made most enjoyable by polite and helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Bar food was excellent. Wish we'd read the hotel description better before we travelled as we would have made more use of the excellent fitness suite and swimming pool.

Good Points: Restaurant food good pleasant ambience
Bad Points: Rooms a little bit tired, but clean and adequate for one night stay
Further Comments: Only stayed in hotel for one night but found it generally comfortable and adequate for a short stop over. The rooms were small and decoration was a little tired generally. But over all hotel was clean and tidy and staff friendly. A colleague with me was booked into a room that had not been serviced?

Good Points: Good sized room with good sized bed, adequate lighting, heating and ventilation - i like to be able to open the windows to get air in. Handily placed for railway acccess into centre of Cardiff.
Bad Points: difficulty cutting off bath water flow whilst operating shower.
Further Comments: Very helpful and pleasant staff, new key system didn't work so old style key provided

Good Points: It fulfilled a need for accomodation as it was in the hotel where the function we were attending was held.
Bad Points: Taxi blocked entrance for several minutes to car park on arrival so had to park on street and lug suitcase further than I would have liked.(Difficult to see what hotel could have done about this).
Further Comments: We had no gripes about the hotel everything was as we would have expected.Anice relaxing experience.

Further Comments: When you are charging top prices for B@B why cant you provide a decent freshly cooked breakfast.Having to serve yourself from those awful warming pans and having to do the toast left us feeling like we had just eat a second hand breakfast.

Good Points: Pleasant staff, good room, good experience. I felt that I got what I paid for and my expectations were met.
Bad Points: Car park a bit cramped but I can see no solution to this given that the hotel is in a residential area. On street parking is available.
Further Comments: I was looking for a reasonably priced hotel that was comfortable and convenient and this is what I got. The discounted price compared favourably with Travel/Premier Inn type hotels and included breakfast. At full price I would not have felt that the comparison was still favourable.

Good Points: large room, clean, large bed
Bad Points: not all facilities in toilet working, shower unit not the best, room got a bit too hot. the car parking was very bad had to park on street.
Further Comments: nice location, friendly staff. the room was nice and large and clean but not all facilities were working. breakfast was ok. the car parking was terrible and was forced to park on street. wasn't really good value for money...

Bad Points: Someone's under pants left in the room, between the furniture!!

Good Points: Rooms were clean if basic. Breakfast was very good. Receptionists were helpful and fellow guests were friendly.
Bad Points: Did not think it was worth ￂﾣ130 for one night's stay!
Further Comments: It was a 15 / 20 min trip away from Cardiff which meant ￂﾣ18 there and ￂﾣ18 back in a taxi.

Good Points: A clean & tidy room, always goes down well.
Bad Points: No air conditioning.
Further Comments: I would have liked a better menu, both in the bar area, and in the restaurant. I would also like the sites to say whether each room has air con or not.

Bad Points: Bathroom requires renovation, especially the shower (very weak)
