| Good Points:
Good Indian restaurant, with good food, great service, and reasonable prices. |
| Bad Points:
Room could do with refurbishment. Handle on toilet door kept falling off, and loo seat kept slipping. I would recommend upgrading to one of the better rooms. |
| Further Comments: Hotel was a bit different from the usual hotels, and I would stay there again. Very good value for money. |

| Good Points:
Staff were fantastic. Could not have been more helpful, friendly and professional. Restaurant was excellent.
Location was ideal. Setting was amazing. |
| Bad Points:
Staff made the most of their resources but were severely overstretched on occasion.
Room was located above a function room featuring a live rock band. Room was literally vibrating until after midnight on the Saturday night of the stay.
Room + hotel were comfortable but in need of a complete renovation. |
| Further Comments: I would not recommend this hotel.
I would recommend the restaurant attached to the hotel. |

| Good Points:
Nice quiet hotel, secluded location, friendly staff, onsite Indian restaurant |
| Bad Points:
Rooms very tired, very small wall mounted TV. |
| Further Comments: Overall a nice hotel in a very quiet area. The Indian restaurant is good and it also serves a more european menu if you don't like Indian. The rooms are a little tired and would benifit from a makeover and maybe a larger TV. |

| Good Points:
stately home history |
| Bad Points:
standard of breakfast |
| Further Comments: It is priced very competitively considering its position and history. Without wishing to encourage a price rise some tlc could put it in another league.
The indian cuisine, although very good, is not really in character. |

| Good Points: The hotel was beautiful it had a very relaxing ambience. The location was perfect |
| Bad Points: We dined in the Bokhara Brasserie (part of the hotel) and was disappointed with the quality of the food (curry) |
| Further Comments: Court Colman manor is a very beautiful building the furnishings were and decor were all in keeping with the character of the building but were a little tired, although I think this gave it character. Apparently the restaurant has won awards but all four of our party did not find the Indian menu food to be to our liking. Although having said that we were reimbursed for part of the meal, and offered a free drink to compensate. The breakfast, however, was very nice. We would definitely return to the Hotel but would not eat in the Brasserie. We felt very comfortable and completely refreshed after only one night, Court Colman Manor has a lovely welcoming feel to it. |

| Good Points: The initial visual impact of the hotel is stunning, and the inside does not disappoint. The most important features are here, individuality, cleanliness, and a warm welcome |
| Further Comments: This is one of those hotels you discover as a regular business traveller that makes the job possible. A beautiful setting, a warm welcome, good food, the absence of rip-off prices and a warm comfortable room. You discover these places and return to them often. |

| Good Points: The idea of themed rooms was excellent |
| Bad Points: The idea of themeed rooms was poorly executed. As such, not worth paying the extra money. |
| Further Comments: The location of the hotel is stunning [bar the train line at the edge of the formal lawn]. We wished we had mroe time to explore the grounds.
Staff are exeptionally helpful.
However, the whole hotel needs a refurbishment and a general spruce up. For example, the residents lounge is more akin to a day lounge in an old people's home than an middle market hotel. Also, the beds have seen better days and the pillows are made of some sort of foam.
Even so, until Brigend bucks up its ideas, this is still the best choice in the area. |
